you're going to have to explain, then. you say you want "something" to do this. If not images, then you're going to have to describe that "something."
you're also going to have to explain, in detail, what you want this to accomplish. "slowly fade out then come back on mouseover" -- define "slowly fade out". describe the look that it would accomplish, perhaps?

It would fade to nothing...not fast like it just disappears when you mouseout it should take a few seconds for it to disappear...
Here is the code
<!-- Coded By Russell Modified by Nightwalker--> <style type="text/css"> #pmmm{ position:absolute; top:0px; background-color:#000000; /*Edit here*/ color:#ffffff;/*Edit here*/ position: fixed; bottom: 0px; right: 0px; left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 5px;/*Edit here*/ width: 100%; /*Edit here*/ height: 45px; /*Edit here*/ z-index: 9999; -moz-opacity:.50; filter:alpha(opacity=50); opacity:.50; display:none; } </style>
<div id="pmmm"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var vfiPB=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); if( pb_username == "admin" ){ if(vfiPB[2].innerHTML.match(/action=pm">(\d+)\s/i)) { var total_pms = RegExp.$1 } if(vfiPB[2].innerHTML.match(/, (\d+)\ (are|is) new./i)){ var new_pms = RegExp.$1 } if( new_pms != "0" && pb_username != "Guest" ){ document.getElementById("pmmm").style.display="block"; var pmbb = "<center>Hello "+pb_displayname+" you have <a href='/index.cgi?action=pm'>"+new_pms+"</a> new PM's</center>"; document.getElementById("pmmm").innerHTML = pmbb; }
} </script>
Yes i have permission to mod...

You could use jQuery..
$("#glide").mouseover(function(){ $("#glide").fadeIn("slow"); }); $("#glide").mouseout(function(){ $("#glide").fadeOut("slow"); });
You'd need to include the jQuery library if you decide to use that.

Did OP want glide? I read it to mean fade. Maybe the OP can express his request again to clarify?

Fade and glide are pretty much synonymous.

Fade and glide are pretty much synonymous. Synonymous? Maybe with jQurey. One fades and one slides. Go Here and please tell me and everyone how that works?

Maybe iPokemon can assist you then? Good luck with it.
