Please respond before this thread is locked due to whatever minor infraction I may have inadvertantly committed. In the Happy B-Day LEGO Brick thread (now locked), Wildmaven claimed that Legoland California has closed or is in the process of closing. I posted a link from their own site that they are thriving and expanding, but since I don't read every post on this board on a daily basis and dared to respond to a two-month old thread, I am forced to start a new one to get some sort of answer. Does Wildmaven (or anyone else) have any basis for this claim?

Last year, National Public Radio ran a story on Legoland and said that they were in financial trouble and were most likely going to close. If they managed to pull out of their problems and are still open, I am very happy and apologize for the error.

Thank you, Wildmaven, for the clarification. I guess I should also apologize to any mod that takes offense to my sarcasm. We go off on (slight) tangents and bring back old threads all the time on our board, but I guess that's frowned upon here. Of course, I'm sure it's difficult to manage a board that has more people online AT ONCE than our entire membership (and we have quite a few)... Oh, crud. I daresay I just went off on a tangent again (and even mentioned my board and its membership, which could be construed as advertising). I await judgment
