Hi guys. A forum I go to and recently became the administrator of won't load for ANYONE. halloforigin.proboards.comIt's just a usual Pokemon forum and was fine up until today. If someone could help me fix it, I'd be very grateful. I would love for this board to be restored as it was a decently active site too. And if there is a reason it's down, please tell me so I may know what not to do in the future to cause this. |

What?? Could you please be more specific? Actually, we got this message from someone at another site a while back: i29.tinypic.com/2igc6dg.jpgi27.tinypic.com/swsdw1.jpgIf it was the favicon, I removed it and put up my own promptly after the complaint. It seems he went ahead and reported us anyway. If this is the problem, we feel cheated. If it was not the problem, please let us know what it was so we may correct it. |

Same problem here. I assume my board was nuked, even though I deleted the link that was in question, as well as several others.

It was a pair of boobs. Just boobs. Where exactly can I get a reasonable definition of "offensive?" It seems to leave a lot of grey area that allows for abuse of the system.
I would also like to know whether this kind of thing comes from an outside complaint, or if Proboards has some system of checking sites. I suspect a former troll that has a beef with some of our members is trying to jack with us. It has happened before, and it's absolutely ridiculous. Nobody on my board has EVER complained to me about the board. I just seem to have to deal with one of these every year or so.
This same group of people has been together at Proboards for a number of years. Out of around 500 members I have only had to ban 2 posters for disruptive or offensive behavior. Why do we keep getting picked on? We're all friends. There's nothing harmful going on here.
I've seen Proboards sites with truly offensive stuff that have been up for years without a single warning.

I'm root admin of halloforigin.proboards.com along with commandolam. I second everything commandolam said, and would like to add that the site's been up for over 2 years and has never encountered any problems. If indeed it's been taken down because of recent complaints, it's almost for certain the result of some recent member drama - and spiteful spirit against the forum. The favicon that Fang/Zowayixx designed was actually placed in the coding by himself when he was staff. However now that he's no longer on the forum he decided to report us because we "still had his copywrited favicon" and didn't even give us time to take it down - as commandolam showed in the screenshot. We don't believe anything we've been doing is in discord with the TOS, but if something is, please let us know what it was taken down for and we'll change it immediately. |

I read somewhere that Dougorama got his forum restored and 48 hours to correct anything that violated the ToS.
We would much appreciate this privilege as well. And it is as Auburn said, "we don't believe anything we've been doing is in discord with the TOS, but if something is, please let us know what it was taken down for and we'll change it immediately."
