TOS Question « Thread Started on Jan 25, 2006, 4:23am »
Hi, i've got a question about the tos agreement and violations in general..
1. I understand that the tos states that it prohibits nudity and porn or similar things, however my question is if these sample posts about sex would be a TOS violation?

...i think that everyone namely teenagers, put a big deal on sex, i was talking to this 13yo from h.h. and he was saying how hes "got to have it" my thing is kids are having sex too young nowadays, and i think its sad, however, the media is not without blame, theres tv, music, and movies.. there is also websites like steakandcheese.com, and newgrounds.com.. the newgrounds forums are laden with this sort of thing and i think its disgusting really.. these things, of course put the idea into their head that its ok to have sex when you are 11 and 12.. and i think its sad, these kids only go by what they see, they think that sex will mean big changes and so, they do it without having any knowledge of its consequences.. and even if pregnancy doesnt occur, there are consequences from it...

How young is too young to have sex? i think any age under the age of 16 is absolutely disgusting. anyone who does it at any age below 16 needs their head examined but thats just me..

well the thing is, the admin is very strict on what is and what is not to be said on this subject.. on my old forum we discussed sex and relationships, in this manner and have had no issues what so ever.. and my old board was seen by some of the staff here as well as other support boards and they didnt seem to have an issue with this..
*edit* i'd just like to say for the record that the board in question is not the one in my profile..

Thank you for your reply, Ms Pixie. I appreciate it, and i do apologize if you think i implied that your answer wasn't good enough.. this is not the case. I run a non-pb forum and have asked the same question regarding this issue, and their response was.. "This is not a ToS violation because no nudity or sexual content was found only a discussion about under age sex. If the discussion goes further into a more perverted nature or content like pictures or any other media is posted it would be a ToS violation." and then they went on to suggest that the topics be heavily moderated. I would like to know if this is also where proboards stands on this issue. However, I will take your advice and wait for staff's response to this thread. Thank you again for your reply, Ms. Pixie.

If the discussion is as you said its fine, as its not explicit in anyway, its nothing differnt really to any news article you will find on teenage pregnancy etc.
I would however be careful with such discussions, as they can very easily stray into the area which isnt allowed

Thanx for responding Martyn, and just to to be certain, would the following warning/board description be sufficient?
Quote:
This is only for the MATURE, (*note that i said "MATURE" and not "x-rated"*) discussion of sex and relationships only. because this topic varies accordingly from person to person, topics will only be started and responded to by the people who want to talk about it. simply put, if you don't want to talk about it.. then don't post in this board.. any form of lasciviousness, perversion, or immaturity will get the topic closed and the user banned.
Note: All ip addresses are logged, and so, if you links, pictures or anything that can be deemed as pornographic in nature, you will be banned, then reported to your isp for abuse of service.
