Description: The code here was put into all of the main boards on our hogwarts rp site thanks to many people trying to get away with one-liner posts. We figured this would help solve the problem and it has tremendously. It's been up since September of '06. No I don't have a good memory, we posted a bulletin, lol.
But ever since we have had no issues with the code. It has served its purpose and in turn our members are getting more experienced instead of sticking to one line replies. Well today I was PMed by a friend of mine saying that she had a problem posting her new thread. I gave her the solution that solves most peoples problem. If you post a thread from word, you must hit a button such as space or backspace and it will allow you to post. She informed me that she typed it up right there.
I asked her to send me the text and it was most definitely past the 350 minimum requirement. My attempt to post it failed as well and I'm co-admin of the site meaning that I have almost all the powers possible. So I attempted to post a thread I had been typing up. It was fine as a reply but would not work as a new thread. I attempted to find the problem and first thing I did was removed a few codes that had been posted yesterday. None of them changed the fact that it wouldn't post. So I removed the minimum length code and it is now working.
Is there something wrong with the code or is it possible that another code is conflicting with it to make this problem?
If you would wish to try it for yourself, you may make an account and PM me. Centara Zealon. I will put a board with the code up and sort you so you may be able to try it yourself.
