Thread Updates:


Feb 23rd, 2007: Created new portfolio thread. Added four robes, a storm shard, three misty globes and a new micro-folder set. Also a few misc things. Watch here for updates.

Feb 24th, 2007: Added Map, Compass, Grappling Hook, TNT, Cutlass, Spyglass and a Raspberry Danish.

Those bread ones make me in the mood for a sandwich =P

BRILLIANT job. Best pixel artist around here, I'd think. ;D

I don't think there IS a way to learn how to do pixel work, I mean you can learn it but it's hard to teach. Mostly it's creativity and imagination, I'm sure a lot of thought has to be put into working at a 20x20 canvas, since our minds don't normally think that big in proportion =P But, I could be wrong. XD

Believe me, there are people out there far and above myself as far as skill goes. Thanks for the compliments. Pixel work is part skill, part persistence. Zoom in, alter, zoom out, zoom in, alter, zoom out, etc... Because you're only dealing with a 20x20 canvas, there's a finite number of ways any item can be drawn. Then it's just a matter of coloring and touching up!

I just added a few new peices. Just things that pop up to me while I'm thinking about RPG type-stuff. I like doing the tiems more than the folder sets, even though thats what alot of people use.

What you've done for the community here is amazing, MC. You've done a great job, and are the best (if not only :P) pixel artist here. Great job on those. You should try a large pixel art piece, that would be good :)
