A group of people had been captured by the government. These were people with no family, friends, and were made sure to not be missed. They were put into cages and cells, poked, prodded, experimented on until one day someone sneezed and a table caught on fire. There was no missing it. The fire came directly from the girls mouth. She was immediately quarantined and put under various test to see how she had managed that. She was tested again and again before finally she was cut open and a new organ, probably no bigger than the Gaul bladder, was found hidden right behind her lungs. The scientist were enthralled by their new findings. They had to learn more.
More and more people were taken and cut open, the scientist finding things could have never imagined in their wildest dreams. Soon, the they started putting animal DNA into the people, wondering if that would have any effect on the person either. People started growing tails and animal ears, wings and claws, fur and scales, and who knows what else. Their senses heightened to that of the animal they were altered with. These people-the white coats-they were turning innocent others into monsters. It was time for a break out.
Somehow someone managed to escape in the night, opening all cells and cages to let those poor people out. A riot ensued. Fires were made, guns were blasted, throats were slashes-blood, so much blood was spilled. But these people-these monsters-had finally escaped and gained their freedom. Or so they thought. They were chased by the government, and it looked liked they would be found. But the freaks found something. An old town named Duggard that looked straight out of an old western movie. There were a few buildings, a saloon, some stores-still stocked with a few needs like fed, some clothes, blankets, and tools-, even a water tower filled with rain water.
That was three months ago and it looks like the government hasn't caught on to where their experiments went. Things are okay in the town of Duggard. The people are starting to learn the ways of how the pioneers lived here. They cleaned and fixed up the buildings with the little bit of tools they could find. They've actually found a place close to Snake River where a few crops could grow-mainly wheat, barley, and corn, but at least it was something. More experienced people went out into the desert and found a few animals-hares, prairie dogs, even a few foxes and snakes. Life really isn't all that bad. Maybe they don't have to worry about that horrible government finding them. Or do they? http://www.guildedpalace.proboards.com/index.cgi
This a brand, spanking new site that just opened today. I am the only member right now and am looking for mods, possibly someone who can do a better layout, and just active members.
