Whats Your Favorite "Underground" Bands?

There are so many good bands that no one knows about. Despite what Genre they are in, they are very talented and get very little recognition.

The point of this thread is not to just tell your favorite band. But pick one that most people on this fourm wouldnt know about that you really like.

Remember people. Just because a band is in a different genre dosnt mean that they "Suck". So I really dont want anyone puting down someone elses Favorite "Underground" Band.
What sounds good to me might not sound good to you. And vice versa..

Please tell the name of the band. There website. (if they have one) and a little paragraph on why you enjoy them.

So with that said. Lets begin.

My favorite band that most people dont know about is Circle Takes The Square. They are a very different sounding hardcore quartet from Savanah Georiga. They alternate between a very sheer male voice to a high pitched female voice. When sung together it really sounds great. The tempos in their songs change suddenly from a very soft, folk sounding guitar riff to a very hard distorted sound.

He's been my favorite for about 5 or 6 years now. I just can't get enough of him.

MF Doom
I've only been into him for about a year, but he's by far one of the most talented musicians in the hip hop industry today.

Atmosphere
Slug's lyrics are unmatched by my standards. Ant has some good production too. But overall, Slug takes it for me.

Oops, those are my regular favorites.

www.purevolume.com/silverstein Silverstein are kind of underground, at least unheard of. They have a more emotional hardcore sound and lyrics. Probaly my favorite band.

www.splittheenemy.com Well they're a local band known around Arizona, but they are a metalish type band, but they are very good, their guitarist is very talented.

heavy heavy low low - erg, I talk to them and their silly also the musics just a bit..different and odd
The Jonbenet - I talk to the bassist and the drummer, and they have an awesome spazzy kinda of music
Bring me the horizon - an awesome band, put on a great live show, come from near me and where my Dad grew up. Kinda heavy for my liking, but still great.
The Fire Restart - bloody awesome band. Jordy knows the drummer.
Pen knife love life - I talk with all the members in this band and support their music, put on a great show and...bleh, just great
Meet me at midnight - bestest friends ever, so I gotta love their music <3
Catostreet Conspiracy I talk with Alex from this band, he's awesome.

The arcane war machine I know these guys, their great guys.

Wouldn't call them "underground", but Stiff Little Fingers are my favourite band that not many have heard of.
