You dont get it the first and for most thing any musician is in it for outside of the creative abilities of music .Is the money plain and simple fact,if there wasnt any money in being a musical super band .They wouldnt have done it.That i can promise you. They would have went where the money is .Like alice cooper said when they ask him why not be a college professor. You have a few phds. His response was rock music.Thats where the money is.Thats why i am there. *shakes head* Don't speak for the billions of musicians out there. There are plenty who don't just do it for the money. ALL professional musicians do it for the money.....otherwise they would sign record contracts simply to release records and not make any money off of them.....they all want money and it's that plain and simple. To think otherwise is to be naive to the ways of the world.

Hmm, well I heard he was going to be on that Live 8 Concert in the UK and was going to do something related to the Beatles.
Not quite sure what it's about and not quite sure what he's up to really.

And that's professional.

It's a uhhh... a song. Ah well, still not my taste. Yeah well... you're photography isn't my taste!!!!! i wuv you alanI see none of what you said. Now please, drop it. Stop invading my thread with your rants and raves and attacks. I hate you, you hate me. Let it be. ALL professional musicians do it for the money.....otherwise they would sign record contracts simply to release records and not make any money off of them.....they all want money and it's that plain and simple. To think otherwise is to be naive to the ways of the world. I'm a musician. I'm in a band. I don't do it for the money. I released an album. I sold it at full cost to one person. The other I sold it for a discounted price. All the other copies I gave away. I don't care about the profit and neither do a lot of musicians out there. They do it because they like to do it. They do it because they want to make a difference. They don't do it for the money.

Those were all excellent songs. And what about all the pop crap that Paul wrote? John and George could write circles around Paul. Because music isn't about money. Yes. It's part concert, part documentary. You want to know who's going to get the majority of the profits off that? Paul. Why? Because he's a greedy sell-out pig who gave up everything the Beatles believe in for a buck. How is I Dig Love better than Hello Goodbye? I agreed that Paul did/does write crappy songs, but he also wrote just as many great ones. Well, we disagree on that. Tell that to the other Beatles after releasing their first few albums. All they wrote was pop. At least thge majority of their very early songs were. "She Loves You" "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" "It Won't Be Long". All pop. They sold out too. Paul can't really control what happens because of someone elses comment. Oh, and if Paul hated John, why did he write a tribute to him after he died?

Hmm Lets see the concert tickets to go see the beatles in the late 50's were about 7 to 8 dollars a piece.By todays standards thats about 40 bucks a pop.The Made Millions of their first two albulms and loved it.George as good of a guitarist as he was, he couldnt write songs if his life depend on it.He just wasnt made for lyrics.Hence Got My Mind Set on you.His First Major hit , when he was alone. The Only really really big hit he did .Paul Wrote Several Top 20 Hits Lyric Wise.John of course wrote more, because thats what he did, he was a lyricist.Paul the best all around musician. So fact if the beatles were making millions of dollars in the late 60's and 70's ... and always wanted more.Tell me did they do it for them money Yes they did .All Rock bands do .People who play in Professional Orchastras dont do so bad in the money department either. They might not be millions, but if your good, you do alright . If there was millions of dollars in teaching instead of music.Where do you think 99 percent of the musician would probably be.In teaching

Don't speak for anyone but yourself. Don't assume things. Don't say things that aren't true. Well its there to see you accused me of spelling errors & made a pathetic little attack on me, saying i was full of bigoted opinions, i will let it drop of course, but i dont hate ya, i know you despise me, but i dont hate you, for a start i have never even met you, you are just a faceless name upon a forum! I never accused you of spelling errors. I pointed out that you were using a word (vandalism) incorrectly. If your too thick and arrogrant to see this, I apologize. Not really. He did write Helter Skelter, so I've got to give him some credit. That's exactly what I'm talking about!!! Even after The Beatles said "Screw you Epstein, we're going to be ourselves and not your creation" Paul still wrote pop songs. He could have said no to the release/making of that DVD, but he didn't. Because he knew he could make a few bucks. If he didn't people would stop listening to his music because they'd think he's a selfish pig (which he is). Go listen to the song How Do You Sleep by John Lennon, Mike. Go read up on The Beatles. John hated Paul and Paul hated John. They started out as best friends but in the end they hated each other. This helped lead to the break up of The Beatles.

so weez, if my opinion is biased, because I think he's a genius, then your opinion must be biased for thinking he's a pig, but no, the great weez, his opinions can't be biased Unless everyone loves your poems, you aren't happy, and those who hate it, are wrong in your opinion

If there was millions of dollars in teaching instead of music.Where do you think 99 percent of the musician would probably be.In teaching George had few hits songs because what he wrote was released on a very small independant label. It's also because he was the heavily underrated Beatle. Saying he can't write is pure ignorance. Have you even heard the Brainwashed album? Have you not heard the song Something? Or Taxman? Or any of his songs? Did you ever hear the stuff he recorded when he the Traveling Wilburrys were around? John was well know because he was outspoken and incredibly controversial. Paul was wellknown because he was the family man of the Beatles. He was good boy. He was the one who did stuff to please his audience. They weren't in it for the money!!! That's why they said screw you to Brian Epstein and stopped shaving everday and grew their hair out. Brian Epstein was in it for the money, not The Beatles. Sorry....but no matter what anyone in this world says.....I can't imagine a single person ever turning down $10 million.....it's just not going to happen....and you can deny it as much as you want.....but that doesnt make it true. I would turn it down. I would never sign to a multi-billion dollar corporate label. That would go against everything I believe in. If I ever sign to a label, it will be a small independent label where I'd for a fact that'd I would have complete control over my music. With a corporate label, that's not true. That's why The Who had to file for bankrupcy. That's why Frank Zappa had to spend thousands of his own money just to get an orchestra to play his compositions. That's why for the first few years of The Beatles career they wore suits. so weez, if my opinion is biased, because I think he's a genius, then your opinion must be biased for thinking he's a pig, but no, the great weez, his opinions can't be biased Unless everyone loves your poems, you aren't happy, and those who hate it, are wrong in your opinion My opinion is not biased. I used to admire Paul McCartney. Your opinion is biased because you say it's bad simply because you think Paul is a genius. You judged it based upon what it is about, not how it's written or anything of the sort. I don't say anyone's opinion is wrong. But when you give me a completely and blatantly biased opinion, I'll be sure to let you know.
