How am I supposed to get a job at all when I don't have very many job requirements. Besides... the add said you would do the training...

You're lucky you got a reply. i applied for about 50 jobs (thats actually about right, I was desperate) and the only one that replied was the one tjhat actually hired me.

My sister who's 19 has had many jobs.

Try going to a local mall or something and see if anyone there is hiring. Tons of stores in there so tons of possibilites.

Plus it doesn't have to be a big name like Home Depot or Walmart. Maybe there's a plaza near you and there's a shop there, maybe a restaraunt/other food thingy, a blockbuster, an ice cream shop, etc.

Awwww well they always say the six month thing. I think they have to do that or something. But at least they told you, at my work they dont say anything at all. I have had people come to me yelling at me because HR didnt call them back. I just laugh at them.

Weird. I'm a cashier/stockman at Wal*Mart. I cashier everyday and do stock at 9:30-10:30. They said you didn't need any previous cashiering experience..but I already had time in with McDonalds...which I never mentioned. Weird.
