Young Feet is a small community for young feet lovers. Anyone is welcome to join. If you love barefeet and want to share your interest with other people from all over the world then Young Feet is the place for you. So why not slip off your shoes and socks and take a look around. youngfeet.proboards101.com/index.cgiTell me what you think Well...right now your forum is currently default configuration....so here are some ideas to help you get started on customizing the whole look. Pick a color scheme that is easy on the eyes and nice to look at. No bright, glaring, blinding colors or extreme mismatches. Shades of the same color are preferred. If you were to choose Blue then you would use 2-3 diff shades of Blue throughout your forum. Window 1 BG colors look best if they are a few shades lighter or darker than your Window 2 Bg color. You should also add contrast and highlights by adding neutral colors like white, black, silver, etc through your forum as they work with other colors well. Text and link colors should be different so that members will be able to tell the difference between links and regular text. Try picking a background image at least 1024x768 in size that matches your color scheme. Consider the use of Gradients in your title and category bars. You should not use the same gradient for both the title and category bars. Cell highlights look best if they are usually a few shades lighter or darker than your window BG color. Here is a good site for colors- RGBHave a banner made for your site....around 720x150 pixels...and preferably with images that have to do with the theme of your site. Try to avoid random abstract art banners. Try to match the colors that you use in your forum. You can also use this code to move the hey you have messages below your banner so it centers itself. Place it in headers- <script> <!-- var newtr = document.getElementsByTagName('table')[1].insertRow(); var newtd = newtr.insertCell(); newtd.colSpan=2;newtd.className="windowbg";newtd.align="center"; newtd.innerHTML = document.getElementsByTagName('td')[2].innerHTML; document.getElementsByTagName('td')[2].innerHTML=''; --> </script> Work on getting some custom images, especially for the On/Off icons and the Menu buttons and Info center icons...Images in other places on your board including Gradients and Extra Info boxes look nice too. Make sure they are not too large or too small. Make them clear to look at but not large enough to where they stretch your forum. Make sure you start topics in all your boards even if it is just an introduction to the board. You need something to get new members interested in replying to. Empty boards with no posts turns off potential members as they think the forum is not active and may keep them from joining. And then consider going to the Coding and Design Board and pick up some codes from there that you can use to improve your board and give it a better look. Examples would be Gradients, 3D Code, and many more. Look through them and see which ones best suit your forum and the look you are trying to achieve. If you need assistance with graphics such as icons or banners or anything else just look around here for threads about graphics sites....there are a ton of them here and any one of them will be able to help you out with requests. You can find a list of Graphics Sites HereTo get helpful suggestions on how to attract members, maintain your forum, and keep your members happy and active you should check out the Discussion: Your Proboardboard.

Thanks for your suggestions, the colors have been customised so they are slightly rendered, however I will take your comments into consideration and continue to work on my site. Thanks very much
