I honestly don't care what It's like in hell. It might be me facing my worst fears and screaming to the top of my lungs over and over again. To bad theres nothing I can do to stop myself from going to hell since I'm gay. If God exist and he made you that way, I don't see why you'd go to Hell. Have you even read the Bible? God didn't make us sinners, so God didn't make him gay. Adam and Eve getting decieved by Satan was how sin came to be in humans.

I think, from the knowledge I have of it, it would be Satan. I would hate that so much.

God hates noone, not even those who are in hell. He also cares for you even after all you have done to earn your spot in hell. Remember, Jesus, after being crucified, descended into hell and brought up with him all believers. That shows you God's compassion. God loves all sinners. In reality, not a single one of us is deserving of heaven, yet God counts us worthy.

Adam and Eve getting decieved by Satan was how sin came to be in humans. You're one of the people who think being gay is a choice, I see. Even IF it would be a choice, and a sin, gay people don't deserve to be tortured, come on.

Gays going to hell is a human ideology, not God's ideology. In the bible it does state the act of homosexuality is a sin, but it does not condemn those who practice homosexuality to hell. In the same right, who are we to judge. Did God give us some power that alows us to abitrarliy juristict who is damned to hell and who is alowed to partake in life everlasting?
Also, Adam and Eve, along with most of the bible's stories, is an allegory to show the bond between man and woman aswell as that sin enters the world through pride, which is the original sin. This original sin can be seen after Adam and Eve eat from the apple and realized that they were naked, hence the pride factor.

I believe that God would not condemn anyone to hell, but instead hell is just absence from God - something a person chooses on Earth and that is followed through.
Not being able to talk to God and being separated from Him would be awful though. I just wouldn't be able to get through much.
In light of the last few posts, people might be born gay but it's their choice whether they actually engage in homosexual acts. Christianity generally calls for them to live celibate lives, but the act is a serious sin. That's what I've gathered over the years anyway.

Interesting question, but does the Bible ever use either the actual words "Hell" or "Satan"? Looking in 16 different translations, I only see these words used in the modern day versions (AMP and NKJ) but not in any of the older versions; also there is no historical record of there being a reference to Satan prior to 300 A.D.

I don't like the idea that some people have of Hell; torture. If Hell exist, why would God send people to get tortured? Sounds extremely cruel to me, especially considering the reasons why someone could go to Hell. Sex before marriage, not believing, hate... I think that eternal torture is kinda harsh, especially for an "almighty being" who's supposed to love everyone and understand. Even humans don't torture people for little things like that, you'd think that God would be more understanding. Hitler is considered a monster because he hated Jews, and the things he has done to them. And God who send people to be tortured for all eternity simply because they committed some "sins", is Ok? You might say I just committed blasphemy for comparing him to Hitler, but I didn't. I compared the "God" that some people believe in, to Hitler. The one who send people to Hell for almost no reason, not the God who loves everyone and understands human mistakes. He isn't punishing you it is your choice while you are on earth and YOUR fault if you choose to not believe therefore he isn't punishing you.

With your logic punishment doesn't even exist.

I don't believe in hell because I believe everyone has some good in them and God does not judge people and gives them a second place. I doubt there is flames or anything of the such, God will never not care about you... your God's creation... This is jsut what I belive though =]
In conclusion there is no hell to me and in fact, no heaven to me either.

How is going to Hell and getting tortured not a punishment? My point is, no one deserves to be tortured for not believing. How about someone tortures you for not believing in ghosts? Sounds a bit extreme, no?
