Hope the new version will be released sooner than later! The demo video that you put out looked great.
Would be nice if you could add and e-mail notification for when new members apply to private groups. I keep forgetting to check to see if there are pending members in the admin section so an e-mail notification would really help out.
Also would be nice if you could add an option to see the most recent threads. I know there is the option to see the most recent posts but people don't really like that. They would rather just see the most recent threads so they aren't seeing bits and pieces of a conversation. Maybe you can have the option to do both.

Cool. Looking forward to v5. Just wondering, will v5 have "detailed" users online lists (displaying where the user is on the forum, etc).

Member search? That's exactly the way vB does it. And finally a who's viewing what forum feature. So much for invasion of privacy.  But I won't complain about ProBoards taking vB's features though. If there was a free vB out there, I'd be all over it. Now to wait for an XHTML version. >_< |

It's no more an "invasion of privacy" than Users Online is. And if you have a problem with it, there's the Invisible feature, which I'm sure will be added to v5 for board viewing. |

Websites were using that kind of method log before VB, so if you want to play the "take" game, then VB took it Your cynicism astounds me |

I'm really looking forward to V5
I love the feature to see who is reading which forum. I think it is a huge help to determine which forums are of more interest and which forums need further work.

When's the release date? Chris Every time someone asks, it will be delayed 1 month! The "Official" release date is "When it is done". V4 was rushed out a bit so there were some issues. |
