Stuff for free is pointless? =P Yup. I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not. I'm just surprised that anyone would think getting free Amazon/Target/Starbucks/iTunes/Wii points/etc gift cards, Paypal money, iPods, movie posters, trading cards, etc... would be pointless, unless they're already rich? xD It's a great way of saving money for me, 'cause I'll be spending hundreds of dollars on textbooks in the fall, and this will help offset the cost. ;D I have a Swagbucks account, saving up for a ps3 Cool! How far along are you? Are you gonna get it through Swagbucks or Amazon? Hint to anyone using Swagbucks: It's cheaper to get as many Amazon.com gift cards as you need to get iPods and most of the stuff in the store. For example, the PS3 costs 4,500 Swagbucks, or you could get it from Amazon. On Amazon, a brand-new PS3 costs $400, meaning 80 gift cards. This means 3,600 Swagbucks... and 900 Swagbucks saved is pretty good. ;D

Honestly.... you know many times I would have to search to actually earn something worthwhile? Probably years.
And really.... I'm just way too used to Google, and I don't to sign up to yet ANOTHER silly web site that I will forget about in a week.

I'm really surprised people still use sites like this. It's definitely not a new concept, and I had hoped netizens had learned to pass these things up. Maybe this site isn't as shady as some of the others, but I'll gladly pass.

I've been a member for awhile, maybe about a year or so. I usually go for the Amazon gift cards myself, and use them to get gifts and supplement my grocery buying and stuff. I am trying to save up right now for the QVC gift card, so I can do all my Christmas shopping with that.

I'm just way too used to Google, and I don't to sign up to yet ANOTHER silly web site that I will forget about in a week. I can understand not wanting to sign up somewhere else, but to me, this one's worth getting used to a new search format. I use Google still for many searches, only search about four times a day on Swagbucks so that I get a few SB's that way each day. Also, years? Well, it took me a month to get up to a $5 gift card each four days, so at this pace, probably 90 gift cards in a year, times five dollars, equals $450 Amazon money. And to me, Amazon money is the same as cash, 'cause I read so much. I'm really surprised people still use sites like this. It's definitely not a new concept, and I had hoped netizens had learned to pass these things up. Maybe this site isn't as shady as some of the others, but I'll gladly pass. Just curious, why pass it up? What would your concern be -- security (they don't track searches), why they give away free stuff (they put ads on searches just like Google, but they give you back a percentage in Swagbucks), etc...? (Edited to add: They've also been around since 2006, which is pretty good. )

Yeah, I signed up but looking at it...if I need to make a small amount of money with little effort I'll stick to copywriting for people who don't speak English as a first language. I can get $20 for an hour's work. Pity the frequency of work is like an hour a week haha Good luck to everyone trying to get their stuff though.

So right there... it sounds pointless. And, honestly.. I don't think I've ever purchased anything on amazon.com and probably never will. You need better arguing skills.

I would rather go all or nothing, than just when a whim hit me. Sorry, I will pass. This is just like those Coke Rewards my dad still does. Takes him forever to earn anything worthwhile. But 95% of the stuff on the site is junk. And just FYI, none of those cards interest me either. I get better bonus in my B&N newsletters than that.
