Forum URL: stephenlawhead.proboards21.comI am not the main admin, but I have spoken with the main admin about this problem. Currently, my position should have the ability to modify member groups, but I get a message in the Admin section stating "no options available" under [Member Groups]. Also, only G-Mods and Admins can delete/modify posts... When we set up members as [Moderators] of a specific forum, they have no more privilage than a normal member. I asked our main admin about it and he confirmed that that member group should have the ability. This was never a problem before the V4 upgrade, but now it seems to be a big issue. If you have to, please look at our forum and find out what the issue is with the member rights not working properly. Thanks.

Only the MAIN forum admin has the ability to modify member groups....this is a new security feature and is intended to be that way. As for the mods...if you have selected limited powers yes you must make sure you enter their name in the edit board section as an actual mod for that board or they wont have powers in it and also select the mod position for them in their profile.

Conquering Wolf,
Would this also explain why my G-Mods can no longer edit a member's Profile?
I want them to be able to edit profiles, but only Administators can do so...
When I was a G-Mod at this forum on V3, I could edit Profiles just fine.
I have already edited the Board properties to add this member as a Moderator of that board, but I don't have the option to make her a Moderator any more.
Is that a new Security Feature with V4 as well?

For Global Moderators, make sure that "Limited Powers," is set to no.

For Global Moderators, make sure that "Limited Powers," is set to no. Our main admin turned off "Limited Powers" for all groups, but our GMods still can't modify profiles.

Ask the main admin to give the power to modify profiles in Modify Groups.
