Last night a source revealed to us that Serina was ordered to stay late after work. A thorough investigation revealed that She was seen leaving the office approximately 20 minutes after closing. Her eyes were red and it looked as if she might have been crying. Our suspicions were confirmed this morning when we came into work to find that her cubicle has been totally cleared out. It appears that the firing has begun. The question is...when will it stop?

Memo From the Boss
__________
Another day, another dollar. This company has higher standards and expectations before. Let this be a lesson to all who think they can snake through and make it out without hard work.

Ask Mr. Important
__________
Q: what main factors help you decide to fire somebody? A: I look for the workers dedication and contribution to the success of the company. We are looking to maximize profit and if someone isn't keeping pace they are going to get cut. It's a hard-knock life out here in the real world.

Thank you guys for sending in your votes. I was, however, disappointing to find out that not everyone voted. To find the boss you must unify as an office and make sure all your friends vote. Get me the votes by November 10th @ 7:00 PM Central Time. You will find him/her soon...

Syko Nachoman - Does anyone know how to get the smell of puke off the floor? Apparently that bowl of cereal last night wasn't such a good idea...
Omio - I got a message from the internet company. It had something about us exceeding bandwidth...whatever that means. Does anyone here have a clue what the heck they're talking about? I sure-as-heck don't.
Nightwalker - As the Boss' official assistant I am obligated to remind the reporter to send his question in by the end of the day (November 10th @ 7:00 PM Central Time). Also I must also remind a certain person (the rat) that he needs to make sure his computer work (hacking job) is done by the end of the day. Please direct any questions that you may have to me and I will my best to answer them.

So... anyone up for the idea of "clearing" people? Basically, we all announce our votes here before sending them to Nightwalker, and if someone ends up with the majority of votes but turns out not to be the Boss, they're confirmed as a regular employee and we can move on to the next-most-suspicious person. Nearly everyone voted last round, but there was almost no discussion in the thread, so most of those votes probably went to completely random people. Having some sort of strategy would be better than none.
I'll volunteer to be cleared first if no one else has any better ideas.

Hmmm. If people interpret my last post as suggesting that I'm the rat, then that would have been a really good way to avoid having people vote for me if I were the boss. ;D
If you're actually innocent, and we follow your suggestion, you're doomed, and we get nowhere. If we don't follow your suggestion, and you're innocent, you live a bit longer, and that's an improvement on having the rat/boss fired. If you're rat, whose job is to avert attention away from the boss - whom is apparently being a very obvious player, if you're going to this great of an extent - then voting you out would benefit the players. If you're the boss, then you're throwing the rat away - which is entirely possible.
Hailing from the lands of Tetris and Minecraft, this is just chickenscratch.
Guys just to make this clear if someone gets a majority vote it doesn't mean they are fired. The only way you exit the game is if the boss fires you or if you are a mandatory firing (aka you don't vote in two separate rounds)

You don't lose if you get a majority vote. You would gain the knowledge that I'm not the boss, and then you move on to the next person and clear them.

If I were the rat or boss, I wouldn't want to bring attention to myself this early in the game. Normally the standing-quietly-in-the-back players have attention drawn to them later in the game when people realize, "Hey, X has barely posted at all in the past three days!" It would make more sense to lay low until later on.
Also, the rat can only be fired if the boss gets at least 25% of the votes, or if they forget to hack the network. The only thing the rat would have to lose by being revealed is that people would stop listening to them. ;D
Anyway, the strategy I posted seems to be the only reliable way of ousting/clearing people from previous games (although it wasn't too successful against me in game 2 ;D). If you don't want to vote for me, then we should choose someone else. But we need to have some plan, especially since people will be going to bed in a few hours
Syko seems to be putting himself in firing range to throw people off from his special position. May be the boss, the rat, or something else but I don't feel he is a regular employee like most of us here. And everyone is so quiet.. Not sure if it's strategy or memory loss.
It's the style of the memo and the generic answer. That kind of question would be decorated more, show more amusement if it was from anyone else. So I believe.

I'm confused just by your wording here. I'll stand by my claims that Syko has a special position and could ultimately be the boss.

So far, two things have become very clear:
1. I'm bad at strategizing. 2. Absolutely no one is going to attempt to make use of my idea, ensuring that horrible things happen to all of us like in the last couple games.
