Ive heard that setting a proboards forum to http://www.*** .com instead of forum.***.com forces me to give up any and all subdomains that I plan to have? Or this is false and I can have all the subdomains id like even if I do point the forums to http://www.***.com i.e I can have www.website.com/anythinghere if the forum is pointed to www.website.com

Hi, You wouldn't be able to have www.website.com/anythinghere point to somewhere else, if the domain was set to load your forum, however, at the same time, that is not a sub-domain. A sub-domain is in the format of [red]sub[/red].domain.com. You can have the forum set to load as a subdomain of your domain, for example, under forum.website.com, leaving you to use the domain for your other options, and pages you want

Okay so if www.forum.com is the forum, then I can have no other pages? Unless its forum.website.com, then I can have other pages. if I have it correct, then thanks.

If I set proboards to point to my .com domain, can I still upload images via ftp? to http://www.*****.com/images
And I have hosting, but do I even need it if I want proboards to display on my domain?

1) Yes.
2) members can access your forum from both urls, however you can use a code to hide the forum when accessed via the pb url if you want.

Dont feel like making a new topic.
When I purchase 'Ad-Free credits'. I realize that it's best to purchase them on the first of the month rather than in the middle of the month.
What time zone is this for? If I do it at 12:10am EST, will I have it for the full month or should I actually do it at 3:10EST.
