This. Plus, unless you get this done when you're about 16, 10 years is far too long a period to say you don't want to have kids. thirded. While it's an interesting possibility and option, it's not one I'd want to be subjected to. It's in the article that the reversal procedure can be done at any time, really this is the next best thing to a pill.

The question is, how would a woman know if a man isn't lying about having had it done?

The question is, how would a woman know if a man isn't lying about having had it done? women lie about being on the pill sometimes so it goes both ways Pretty sure that would be a form of rape as well and a paternity test could be done if she got pregnant. It's at least a little more 'rape-ish' then the girls that get drunk and say its rape so I'd say it counts

This is definitely interesting but I'm trying to think of how popular it would be. Men don't usually think about having anything sharp near their testes.

I would understand if someone was afraid of needles, but it seems much less terrifying than having someone come at them with the normal tools, no?

Simply genius? No. This is simply another kind of vasectomy. When there's a pill that can halt sperm production or act as an internal spermicide without long-term negative side-effects, I'll deem that "simply genius". This. Plus, unless you get this done when you're about 16, 10 years is far too long a period to say you don't want to have kids. It says it's reversable and you'd be back to normal in 2-3 months. It can sometimes take a lot longer than that to get back to normal after coming off the pill for some women. To me, it seems like a great idea. Men don't like condoms and women don't like extra hormones (and not all women can even have them for various reasons), so this would be a decent alternative.
