Could one of you peeps that are having problems in the quick replies please try this version? Thank you. That's fixed the problem for me, thanks Todge.

The only thing I can think of right now is to move the word count up.. That can be done using CSS. Put this in your forum CSS, or in the Smiley Dropdown CSS.. .word-count-thread { position: relative; top: -30px; } You can change the number to suite. Where would I put this for it to work with messages as well? Can there still be an update that removes the gap?

If you put that CSS in the smiley plugin, then it should work whenever the two are on the same page.
As for an update to fix the issue.. Not any time soon. I may seem like a small thing, but it would mean recreating the way the smiley dropdown is added to page.

I've tried it in the plugin CSS and forum CSS, and it doesn't change the private message's quick reply. No problem, just a minor annoyance.

With the code as it is, you can't.
The original code was created specifically so you don't have to give your smileys codes, instead the code is created from the image name, so, if you want that smiley to have to code ::neko:: the file has to be named 'neko'.
Unfortunately, it's not a straightforward edit to allow you to give your own smileys codes, though I am thinking of adding that option, but unfortunately I have no idea when it may be done. It's not a code I look forward to dissecting.

c19.proboards.comHello - I've used the Smiley Management plug in to edit the array to go into the drop-down, which is mainly used in Quick Reply. It all works very well, and members can select smileys from the list or the box and insert them in their posts. However, if they then go back and edit the post, the smileys all acquire a mystery tag [/img] after them. I have no idea where that comes from - grateful for any ideas how to fix this. I use the same format of URL to enter smileys into the smiley array in the theme, and these function without generating that extra tag when the post is edited - but I cannot work out what the difference could be.

That is probably caused by an anomaly with your smiley URLs..
Could you PM me your smiley array and I'll take a look.

Hi. I recently added five five-star ratings images to my smiles on my forum via: Admin Home > Themes >Themes Settings Images Tab Smiles section The stars are showing up in the Smilie Dropdown box everywhere BUT the quick reply. I'm using Smilie Dropdown 3.0.6(just updated from version 3.0.4, but had the problem with it, too) Quick Reply BBCode Buttons 0.8.9 I disabled all my other plugins except those two and still had the problem.

Hi-ya. As you've added your stars to the smiley list in your themes, this is not an issue with this plugin. If you want the stars in the smiley dropdown, then add the image URLs to your smiley array within the plugin. Or you can ask for help in this thread, this is the help thread fr the plugin that adds all the UBBC buttons to the quick reply, including all the smileys you have on your themes.
