Changes the color of any of your categories on the main page.


Features:
- Change category title bar background color, background image, border color, and text color
- Change category container outer and inner border color
- Change colors within boards and threads of each category you change the colors of
- All of the above can be done on individual themes or all themes at once!

Notes:
- Boards will only inherit category colors if both the name and the display name of the category are the same.
- Works fine alongside Jordan 's Collapsible Categories plugin.
- Any category names you specify will be viewable in your forum's source, so if you don't want members knowing the names of any hidden categories, don't color hidden categories.

For some reason I'm finding that it doesn't change the border colour for the title bar, only the board list. Also, while it works for a newly created category, I can't seem to get it to work for old ones. =/

Aww man, I totally didn't account for the title bar's border. I don't have those on any of my skins. My bad.

I'll get that updated by the end of tonight.

As for the second problem, that might be due to the closing </h2> being on another line in your layout for the category titles. I'll see if I can account for that as well.

Apparently saving the cat. name without editing it makes it work. (blue one is the example)

ed; yeah - after you name the cat you want to change, it would appear that sometimes you have to save the cat details.
Noticed the </h2> on a new line, no idea what caused it. All cat names were fine, no additional spaces or anything. Simply edit/save without making any changes and suddenly they work. =P

Added options for title bar border color, title bar background image, and container border color. I also hopefully made it so that it doesn't matter if there's new lines, spaces, or tabs between the <h2> tags.

That's the case for now. Pat says they plan on working on an upgrade feature later on though.

Yet another request, because hey, it's not like you have anything else to do.

Would it be possible to make the colour changes carry over to the thread list, and maybe even threads themselves within the boards that're in each category?

The category title bar background color and border color works find . But the text color and category container border color doesn't work.

Looks like it's working to me buddy.

The titlebar bg colour is obvious, and the title bar border colour is just the border of the title bar.
The Text colour is for the colour of the Category name, and the container border colour is the outside border of the Category.

For example your Celebs board has a dark green title bar bg and title bar border, orange text and a lighter green container border.

Make more sense?

If you're not sure, try setting the values on one category to random colours, to help work out what does what. =]
