ok so I downloaded the key to my computer but I do not know how to move it to my admin panel. Hi, Matt. Once the PBP file is downloaded to your computer, simply go to Admin > Plugins > Manage, click the Import Plugin button. A popup will appear with a Choose Plugin File button. Click that and then navigate to where you saved the plugin and select it (typically you can double click on it to have it upload to your Admin panel). Once uploaded, click the Finish button - you should then be taken to the plugin's settings.

I was asked a couple of questions about the Individual Gallery that I couldn't answer:
1. When somebody comments on my photos I don't get a notification, is that a setting or this is a default? Which makes me wonder if I comment on a photo does the member receive a notification or not? If not, could we implement this, as people might never realise that somebody has commented otherwise.
2. Does commenting on the gallery submissions count towards people's post count?
3. Do the comments on gallery submissions count towards the forum's total post count?

Todge,
Thanks for the Gallery....
I want to know if there is a way to create numerous galleries that everyone can upload to.
So under the - GALLERY - Container, there would sub-boards that people could upload there photos to. to have a more organized layout of photos while it would still show who uploaded them? This would be great.
At this point it's a Gallery per person. A site gallery would be better for my application. Anyway to accomplish this?
Just to be clear- Have a Gallery Board- Then Sub-Boards and then an option to create a gallery within each individual Sub-Board.
Thanks!

Hi, mastiffman. In the plugin settings, under the Extra Settings tab, there's a checkbox to make the boards listed as Social Galleries - where others can post images to the same gallery (thread), regardless of who started it. If you want some boards as per person, you may want to ask Todge if it's possible to run multiple copies of the plugin without issue.

Yes that might be an option for multiple copies I could do a test run on my test forum... Until I get a reply from Todge. Thanks for the idea.
EDIT: I may have figured it out... I forgot that I added a board and named it "New Member Gallery" and added that to the capable list that a gallery can be applied to. So, I went back, deleted that board, made the diff boards that I wanted to and then the sub-boards within those and then went back into the plugin settings and chose the sub-boards that I wanted to have individual galleries in!
Worked like a Charm!

Hm, well, this probably doesn't matter, but perhaps someone might be interested to know that when you click on Todge's name, it shows which is certainly incorrect! Just in case this is a symptom of something amiss with the system....

The only other thing that I was curious about is whether or not Proboards.com will allow us to purchase gallery storage and if we can have an option to upload pics right from Desktops to the Sites Gallery?

Hi peeps.... Gallery comments are stored in a key, because of that you don't receive notifications when comments are made, they also do NOT count towards your post count or the forum's post count. Adding a notification is possible, but it would require another key. If this is wanted I'll look into creating an 'add-on' plugin, but be aware that keys are at a premium. Unfortunately there is no way to automatically change a member's or the forum's post count, so that function can not be added. As Lynx posted, there is a setting to allow 'Social Galleries', that allows the gallery creator to allow other members to post images in their gallery. So simply start a gallery, change the name to to something other than 'Admin's Gallery', and select the option to make it a social gallery. There is no way to use your forum's storage to upload to within a plugin, so again, that's a function that cannot be added. The best bet would be to add a note in your board's header suggesting photo storage sites that would work. And... I'm a ghost..

Is there a way to add framed "mini info" below the photos or at least tighten up the layout? Or could you update the plugin? Maybe add the option to show framed "mini details" that are customizable within a 3-4 line limit with direct links underneath? I can work with the rest. Cool little plugin for sure otherwise. Just not completely like other forums.
Thanks!

Could you please elaborate? I assume you have set your galleries to be viewed linearly, as that's the only way that displays info below the image, other than that, I'm unsure what you mean by 'Framed "mini info"'.

Argh! I totally missed that because it was addressed to someone else. Thanks for pointing it out Lynx!
