Hi Todge, I think this is what I am looking for but just wanted to check... I am wanting to have a gallery of pictures which only an admin can add to or change so I think I can use this with the access control change? Thanks in advance. Yep, you can create a gallery in an admin restricted board. That will mean that only administrators can create and post images to the galleries in that board.

Well, if anyone is having problems like I've mentioned above with Twitter links, the fix I use is to redirect the url with tinyurl.com or bitly.com as once you paste your Twitter link in there and it gives you a new link, and ProBoards doesn't try to change it. Todge, if you wouldn't mind me modifying the code, I'd love to make my own branch where I can add more functionality. The most important thing I'd like to add is a full size image button and a source link button, as the plugin only allows for one or the other currently. Sorry, I missed this.. The plugin currently allows the image to be a link to the full size image, AND allows you to add more fields, so you can have both as is..

Hi,
I have got it installed and I am getting the sizing sorted so it looks right and that is just a trial and error thing.
With the images, is there a way of being able to scroll through each images rather than having to close the image and select the next one?
What I would like to do is have the equivalent of what FB do and allow you to click on the right hand side to go forwards and left to go backwards?
Don't know if this is possible?
Also, on the main gallery page, how do I resize the thumbnails as they are too small at present. I would like them to all be a consistent size.
Thanks for your help.

Scrolling from one image to another is an option I have looked at in the past.. It is not easy as the images are stored in separate posts that can spread across several pages, but it's one option I will TRY to incorporate when the plugin is updated for V6 As for resizing the thumbnails, that can be done from within the plugins 'CSS Styling' tab.. Add this to the box there.. .gallery-image { max-width: 150px!important; max-height: 150px!important; } Change the red to suite.

I am trying to use a Flickr Image or hopefully a Flickr Album but I can't see a way of doing it?
I am not sure if it will work or not?
Thanks

Hi Todge, I am trying to use a Flickr Image or hopefully a Flickr Album but I can't see a way of doing it? I am not sure if it will work or not? Thanks I have never used Flickr, but you should be able to use images hosted on Flickr. Links to albums will not work though, as each gallery 'post' needs a link to 1 image. If you are having trouble with an image hosted on Flickr, can you please either post or PM me a link to the image you're having problems with and I'll take a look. Thanks.

Image links to the source are VITAL to the gallery. Credit is required to the artist. 2. Viewing a huge wall paper size image needs to fit on the page when you click it. 3. Viewing the full resolution of the image needs to be an option. How do I accomplish this? Refer to the first image in row 6: bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2101/bloodstained-official-art-gallery?page=3I am running 3.0.8 and see no settings that will allow me to view a full size image and allow a preview to not be full size.

In the plugins' settings there's an option 'Allow gallery images to be links', you currently have that set to 'Specific Link', changing that to 'To Full Res' will then link the gallery images to full resolution versions of themselves.
You can also add extra fields, allowing extra information to be posted with the image, be that a title, copyright notice, download link, or whatever you require.

If I do that, clicking the link doesn't go to the source. How can I add an extra field?

If I do that, clicking the link doesn't go to the source. How can I add an extra field? In the plugin settings, third from the bottom you should find a larger text area, you can list your extra fields there, just make sure that each field is on a new line..

I have a query - I'm aware that there's no profile by default, but would there be anyway one could create a 'custom' profile display that displays similar to instagrams?

I have a lot of images in this gallery. All of them have current link information. Even if I could add a new field when a new image is added, what about every other image that is already there?

I have a query - I'm aware that there's no profile by default, but would there be anyway one could create a 'custom' profile display that displays similar to instagrams? The mini-profile is there, in linear mode, only hidden, so yes, it would be possible for a code to access that and display it in some way. I have no idea how Instagram displays the profiles, so I can't answer whether it would be possible to mimic theirs though.

Basically I'd just want to be able to put in an avatar, display name, total posts and how many likes/comments (if at all possible) images have got
