I would like a plug in for being able to have the codes in a highlightable box. I wouldn't mind it the other way so much except that I have quite bad arthritis and I try to make things as easy as possible on myself when on the web. The clicking once to copy and then pasting where necessary was far simpler for me. It quite often hurts my writs when I have to manually highlight anything. Thanks in advance.

Bumping again, would still like this. I have now got my site converted and it will be a while for me to get it to the way I want it, but this would still be beneficial for me for when I have to copy my application templates. Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you want, but have you tried clicking somewhere inside the code, then Ctrl - A. That selects (highlights) all.

Right now when I even try to copy the code the conventional way, all it's doing it re-copying the information in code format again. It's driving me crazy. I'm actually about to post a help topic - as I've lost some information on my profiles and not sure how to get it back either. They didn't say that we'd lose information. Besides I really found the highlightable code very useful and easy to use. Doing it that other way just sounds like hard work when all I had to do was click on "highlight code". There are many things about V5 that I love but there are just as many that are driving me nuts. Ugh.

You might have more luck getting someone to create this plugin if you will provide the code you were using.

I'm not code savvy unfortunately and now my forum has been converted. I think there is a copy of them on the betazone - if I can find anything that is remotely like the code that was previously used, then I can certainly add it in. Never thought of that, thanks.

Bump. I really REALLY need this. I know I can press shift to highlight it all, but trust me when I say it's bloody awkward when you have painful wrists due to arthritis. Really hoping someone can do this for me.

i agree somethings on v5 seem interesting some more difficult, but i too being handycap spend 90% time using mouse to copy/paste words and things when  working on boards and everything anywhere computer related.

so yes i am interested in this also... thankyou will be watching.

Bumping as still unsure as to whether this is in hand or not. I've had to repost all my character profiles and there are MANY and this highlighting without the highlightable box is so difficult.
