Ok, I see nothing, no buttons at all, what did I do wrong?
Edit to add, I didn't try anything fancy, just wanted to see the default before I started playing.

Sorry, it took me awhile, turning off MM wouldn't take for some reason. But it's now off.

It's true that Todge's Smilie Plugin for JJ is not working in Reply on my site. support.proboards.com/thread/453560/page/2/old-additional-smilie-methodIt works fine in Quick Reply. But I wasn't even thinking of that and the UBBC plugin this evening. I was just wanting to get the UBBC plugin to line up on one line and not have the split. I did not think that it was anything to do with the UBBC code at all, but then, I'm pretty clueless about a lot of this plugin stuff and how they interact. But I suppose there could be something going on since the conversion. I do know that I had not problems at all with Todge's code till a few days ago? Perhaps there is a connection? For this evening... I think I will stick with your original UBBC plugin, Eton Bones, and see if I can fix the non-working Todge smilie code for me. There might be a connection, but I will tackle one issue at a time.

Eton Bones, I did get that smilie icon if that is what you mean in the screenshot, but the plugin I got from Todge now only works in Quick Reply and not in the Reply area. It only happened a few days ago, up till then, the new smilie dropdown was working on Reply and Quick Reply with your earlier UBBC plugin, now, it only works in Quick Reply. This occurrence had nothing to do with your new plugin. I just had not addressed the issue yet with Todge. Sorry if there was any confusion.

I don't remember saying anything about no spaces, I mostly remembering wanting Font Face and Font size on the same line as the UBBC buttons to prevent an additional line going on, mainly because I normally use Quick Reply to post.
When you say there is no say in sequence, Eton, that got my attention. I was used to the Smilie Face being at the end, and now that has changed. I admit I have not spent a lot of time figuring out the new version, but that was a bit different for me, when it was in the middle of the other icons. I am hoping I can figure out how to move the smilie to the end and more familiar and usable for my members.
Sometimes, I think I get in over my head and just need to walk away, and this is one of those times.... ***JJ goes off to watch a rerun of Magnum PI.***

Thank you for the explanation, Eton. I went back to an earlier version and for some reason, my additional smilies are now working, at least at my test site! Yippee.

Hi Forever Sunshine. You can do a lot over in the Admin, Structure section, and then go the Categories and Boards options. It can be a bit confusing sometimes, but to be able to open a board for help, there needs to be a place where our helpers can see the problem we are dealing with.
Here's what I do, when I think I have the site all fixed up, I log out, and then go to the site as a guest and see what a guest can see. If a guest see all the boards available but cannot open any of them or make a post, I know I need to create one for technical support. I usually create a board at the top for guests, and it is also open for posting. That way, our support team can experiment.
Good luck.
ETA: Oh good, you figured it out.

Bless your heart, Forever Sunshine. Been there, done that. You are just beginning. Just pace yourself and don't forget to breathe. Sometimes, you will also just have to walk away. It will take you a few weeks to get all the kinks worked out. But you WILL!

Good idea, Forever Sunshine. Try not to add too many things at a time. Make sure each is functioning before you go get something else. There ARE some conflicts, and which order you have you plugins can have an effect. Sleep tight.
