Which Color to What?

Ok...maybe I'm seriously overthinking things...But I've been trying to figure out for a while know which color section in the custom color area affects the colors of the bbcode/visual editor typing areas for when you're posting.  Right now, they're the same color as the table around it, and I want them to be white with black font, like it is here when you post. 

I'm sure it's gonna be super obvious when I get told what I need to change where >.<

In the visual editor..
Admin Home> Themes> Colors & Styles> Visual Editor>

If you go down to pages, you'll have a spot where you have access to 'Editors'. Both 'Visual Editor' and 'BBCode Editor' are there. Changing the colors in these will change the colors you want shifted about.

Ok, that did change the visual editor but the bbcode editor didn't change.

I am right along with you kzweyr. having issues with the page button at the top of the page where it lists 1,2,3,4,5,6 but the previous button. which was the last button pressed can anyone assist me on that?

What exactly is the issue you're having? I'm having trouble understanding.

It sounds like you're wanting to change the colors where you actually post in, right?  Like if you Reply to a thread and start typing you're either on the Visual or BBCode tab?

Indeed I did.  Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:




Now, that's the editor tab under the pages option in the colors & styles editor, which is where I went to edit the visual editor, which took just fine.  But even after saving that for the bbcode editor, it didn't save.  Nor was the option to edit that area black like the rest of the editable options seem to be.  Not sure if that has something to do with it.

For the fun of it, select a font from "font face" in the Editors > BBCode.
This actually fixes it some times I have found.

On another note, when I went back to try the suggestion of the font type for that editor, none of the color changes which I had made and saved were annotated in that area.  Dunno if it's a fluke or something, but I saved the color changes again, and when I went back later, all the applicable boxes were once again blank.

This is due to your theme being made before we added the options to change the Editors. It should work on any new themes you create.
