Simple RPG Stats 1.1.1 [Updated: 29/04/2013]

Forgot to post this in here when I done it for a request.

The thing to note about this plugin, is that it is meant to be simple, meaning this is what you get, no other bells or whistles .  A proper RPG plugin will be worked on in the future.

You can style it more to suit your needs by modifying the mini profile template and using a custom element with a class name "simple-rpg-stats".  Otherwise it will just add it to the bottom of the mini profile info like the image below.

You can add as many stats as you like, as it works it out from the post count, so doesn't use a key.

Hey Peter, I was wondering if you could tell me, who has access to alter the stats in this plug in? Is it only administration? I was thinking of altering this to use as a means of keeping track of multiple points systems for a forum, such as faction alignment points, in game currency, ect. Of course I wouldn't want members giving themselves points/currency, but I would like to know if the task can be delegated to other administrative members aside from the official site owner.

Since it works based on post count, then you won't have any issues as it can't be changed.  Basically there is no key, and the values that show up in the mini profile are not stored, they are worked out from the post count on the fly.

I got the plugin and imported it and put some settings on it but I don't see any of the RPG stuff I put. Help please, thanks!

Sorry, my fault.  For some reason I never mentioned in the first post that you need the Yootil Library...

hmm i do not see any of the inputs in the profile. Yootil is above this plugin in the manager. Could someone perhaps take a look, maybe the input fields need to be something other than what i entered?

delusional.freeforums.net i have the custom profile fields also enabled, could this be why i don't see the rpg stats?

Edit: So i took out the custom profile fields and went to view a post... The simple rpg stats showed, for a split second while the page loaded but then vanished.

ugh ok after a couple of refreshes it shows and stays in the right place. sorry for the double post.

EDIT: Peter it does only show up every now and again, with each page change for some reason. Refreshing cures the problem, while on that page but if changing pages it disappears again until refreshed once more. I'm using Chrome if this helps any?

Version 1.1 is available. This adds support for pagination (i.e when going to the next page inside a topic, it would disappear).

You can also install this plugin from the library now, however the latest version hasn't been approved yet.

Level appears twice, I think i may of deleted the old plugin without removing the stats >.<

Is there a way to delete the old information I put in place?

I have just released a bug fix, 1.1.1. It's not updated in the library yet, so you can download it from the first post instead.
