On the above forum, we updated to V5, but it looks weird, and the toggle box doesn't work. I can't figure out how to access the messages, either. HELP!!

Any codes from V4 will not work on V5 properly. You'll want to look for plugins that perform equivalent functions in the Plugins board.

I think you'll be much better off in the long run learning how to do things rather than having someone do it all for you. Teach a man to fish and all that jazz.

First, go to the plugins board: support.proboards.com/board/35

There's a sticky guide there on how to import and install plugins.

Once you've read through that, you can browse each of the plugins and install whichever ones you desire. Two plugins you'll be interested in are Sidebar Redux, which emulates Smangii's sidebars but is reworked for V5 compatibility, and the Peekaboo Side Bar, which will do the same thing as your toggle sidebar.

Ideally, it would be best to remove any V4 codes from your headers & footers before installing plugins to ensure no conflicts arise in their code.
