IP Look Up Buttons

Hi, Pebble, I love this plug in, too.  And I love Rosefriend's suggestion. If you can make it happen, that would be great.

I have an update coming out soon with the guest IP's included so I'll hang fire until this is sorted.

As mentioned over in Wormo's plugin, I will keep both plugins running on my site for testing since Wormo is quite busy. If you need me to adjust/change something let me know.

It needs testing out so please add any bugs etc to that thread. Once I know it's working OK I'll add it to this plugin in the next update so it'll be an all in one and save those vital plugin spots!

So I have just installed this plugin from the library but I have a question. It's only possible to use it from actual posts? Because when a new member joins I don't see those two buttons showing up when I click the member's name. I am only able to use this feature on an actual post that the member writes down. Is there any way to make it work just by clicking on the profile? Cause the plug in says that's possible, but it's not working for me.

As this is an admin function, I can't go to your site and look what is happening so you'll have to give me some more detail about 'what' is not working.
A screen shot of a members profile page would be very helpful.

Ok. Picture above I can clearly see the options. No problem in this. Working fine.



On the above I can't. So my question would be if it's possible for the options to show up in this section as well, by checking up the user's profile. This would be extremely useful. To actually be able to use this before they start posting.

Sorry, I have no idea why it's not working for you.
I just deleted my plugin and re-downloaded from the library and it worked fine in several browsers.
Could you try doing the same thing.
It could be a template mod that's been done that's causing the error. Another thing to try is moving the plugin to the top of your list on the manage page.

I see you're using Firefox. Which version is it?
Also, could you try using a different browser to see if the same thing happens.

I tried everything you have recommended and it's still not working on the mini profiles. I asked my moderators and they face the same problem. They use different browsers. So I will assume it's something on the template? What can you recommend me to fix this?

you could verify this easily. create a new theme that has no template modifications. see if the plugin works in that theme.

I'd come to ask for these buttons to show in members profiles too, making it possible to check out new members that haven't posted.
I see that Maf has asked for the same - I don't see the buttons either.

I'll download the plugin again from the library and move it up the list too, I'll let you know if this fixes the problem for me.
