This pluign is a prototype, am not sure if I will continue it, was more of an experiment, but seems pretty stable as it is.

If the drawing icon doesn't show, it means it's not supported in the browser you are using, or you do not have the Yootil Library installed.

What this does is allow your members to create a picture on the reply page, and save it to the post. It doesn't use a post key, it just appends the data to the message. The reason for not using a key, is that depending on what is added to the canvas, it can get very big (I've had a few over 100,000 characters which failed). Really, a limit should be put in place to prevent it reaching that size, but it's just a prototype for now.

If you quote someone who posted a picture, it will allow you to edit their picture.

Omg I hope you continue this and improve it more etc (if need be).
The only thing I can currently think of to add is an eraser brush. Seriously this is fantastic

Aww no, nothing's happening. I use Chrome. Latest. It lets me draw fine, and I click "post" and it gives lots of characters and posts, but shows no image.

Aww crap, ok it works in Firefox, not Chrome. Nooo!!!! lol

I love the idea... Chrome used to have something like this when it first started. Only problem is, since I run a vampire RP board, I can't think of when in the hell it would ever be used lol.

Anyone have a problem with the quote button vanishing when the plug in is enabled. (quote button on upper right by the gear, not the quote button in reply) ?

Weird, as it doesn't reference anything to do with the quote button.  Do you have any custom template changes?

I'll have a look at it over the weekend if I feel like working on it

It was something I did plan to add in, and to stop specific members from using it as well, though as it was a prototype, I decided just to release it as it is.  If I spend some time on it this weekend, I'll add it in, no promises though

lol, that's awesome to see it being used.  Thanks for sharing, that may have encouraged me to develop it further

I noticed this by one of your members...

"Scroll the paint bar down..and you'll see color and brush size...double click to make work.."

Are the controls not displaying correctly?  If not, could you ask them to provide a screen shot so I can see how far out it is for them?

If I work on it again, I'll try and fix that if it's an issue.

It wasn't working for 3 of us using Chrome.
All we saw was the random characters when clicking "post" and then nothing more in the actual posts (except our own message - no image though).

It defo is an issue and would be appreciated if you could get it working for Chrome

Totally great idea.
I used to have a link to an external white board on other forum. Having it as a plugin is waaaay better ^^
I really hope your project doesn't die as prototype It is great idea.
