I guess no way of fitting locks on the door? Or do what I've done a fair few times. Move bed in front of door

I mean I'm moving out in less than a month, otherwise I'd look into it. There is a lock on the door but it's one of those you need a specific pick to open, and while I do have the pick it's rather difficult to unlock it, and it's awkward to stand in front of my door for 5-10 minutes trying to wiggle around to get it unlocked. And yes, I have done that before

It's not that she comes in at night, she comes in during the day while I'm at work because she apparently has enough free time to make sure all the windows in the apartment are shut so she can freeze it out.

...That makes... sense? Shouldn't she be doing something more constructive like working herself?

Right? I mean if my sister had been taking a shower or something I would have been more sympathetic. But she was literally just using the bathroom to relieve herself. A mere 60-90 seconds after my roommate snapped, she got out. But I guess it really threw off her day because she slammed both the bathroom door and her bedroom door when she was done. Also she had the AC on 67 last night (it was 54 degrees out) and I discovered she came into my room when I wasn't there to close my windows, even though I'd shut my vent because I prefer the fresh air at night but that's just me. It really bothers me that she comes into my room, mainly because I don't go into hers. Rig the door so that when she opens it a massive water balloon will fall on her.

Haha, oh these responses made me laugh this morning, and work is supposed to be hectic today so thanks! Anyway, I got home last night and she'd closed my windows AGAIN, so I decided to leave her a note on my dresser (whose side you see when you walk into my room): Becka,
I closed the vent in my room. Please stop coming in while I'm at work and closing my windows.
Thanks.
I could have been so much worse, but I figured I still have 25 days...1 hour and...50 minutes to live with her, so my true feelings will come out that weekend.

She went in again last night! So today I decided it was worth the effort to lock my door and keep her out. If she gets in again it's technically breaking and entering, right?

Too bad your state doesn't have a castle doctrine, because in many places (God Bless Texas!) you could use lethal force to defend your castle.
