For those that are wondering what exactly this does: If you have a new notification it gives you an alert box and asks you if you want to view your new notifications.

I love this plugin and have used it since the get go when I converted to V5. Sine I know only basics ( and I do mean basics) about plugins I'm presuming this plugin grabs the notification that one has that show up on the user profile menu bar and then of course sends you a alert on your screen to view or cancel by using a html popup code? I'm just guessing?

What I was wondering is if this plugin could be changed to send a message popup when a user logs out say like "sorry to see you go, Hurry Back" or something like that and on the popup window have a button that when clicked would be a "Return" to the previous page a user was on and another button that actually allowed the user to logout saying OK?

If you plugin works anything like I said then could it also grab the logout function and then do this?

If you aren't interested in this then please let me know and I'll post this in the plugin request section.

I see in the plugin library one called Notifications Alert v1.0.0

It doesn't specify what notifications it alerts you to.  I mean, there are already notifications you can subscribe to in the forum under personal settings, so, what are the additional ones this plugin does?

And how does it alert you?  Sends you a PM, and email, a pop-up?

Will it send alerts for new items added to the calendar?
