Adding Title

I just started so im pretty ignorant here. I havent done any of this in many years. The top banner on my forum says "forum" how can i remove that and place my forum name there?

Admin Panel > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Visual Editor > Header > Banner Image > Banner Text

Ok this one im a bit confused by. After header i get forum banner then i get > banner image or banner text not really within each other. Anyway i dont have a pic to post, i was simply looking to type some text in. I see all kinds of references to text (size, type etc..) but no where to type anything in. Is that possible? or do i have to upload something?

Hi,

If you type in the banner text, that should be what you were wanting. Give it a go and see if it gives the desired effect. If it doesn't, please link to the forum.

When i get to header...I dont get banner image or banner text. I get forum banner. If i click on that i then get banner image of banner text, not banner text within banner image. If i click on banner text, it appears to have a variety of ways to edit the text, but i dont see anywhere to type anything in. That was the problem.

this is what shows up;

Text Color
Font Style
Font Weight
Font Size
Font Family
Text Decoration
Font Case
Small Caps
Text Align
Text Shadow Size
Text Shadow Position
Text Shadow Color

Do this instead ~ Admin Panel > Settings > Forum Settings > First Box "Forum Title"

After you fill in the name ~ be sure it is checked to show. 

Go to Themes > Theme Manager > Highlight the theme's name > Click on "settings" button. In Settings, be sure the drop down for Forum Title shows "Display Forum Name".

Glad it worked. It's too early in the morning here for me to be giving advice!!!! I should have known better the first time.

If i told you i once had a forum with 6,000+ unique visitors a day how stupid would i look?
