I think it was the clock. I like the calendar you have. I have been searching just now for one that is easy to install in a side bar.

I make mine. You are welcome to use it if you like. September's is already done, too. So when I put it up, you may use that, too, if you like. If someone asks my permission, I don't have a problem sharing.

What Ii really like is the 'look to the skies' box and the moon phases. I'm into astronomy..lol I'm working on a custom page and may add a calendar. I just got the liveclock to work, very cool. I'm still learning all this and set up a test forum so as not to mess mine up..lol modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/The online radio is VERY cool and had it playing while checking out your forum..lol. Very nice work btw. Rob

Rob, thank you. That's one of 57 themes I have. I change the default daily. I have a test board, too. The radio widgets and the moon are all easily gotten from the web ~ clickable from my board. Yeah, I like Wormo's Live Clock, Weather Generator and Color Smear to name a few. The Raining Cats n Dogs was also created by me. Have fun creating and good luck with your custom page! BarB

Wormopolis My members are reporting a difference in the clock time. I have it set to GMT +/-0 but they are recording that it is out by up to 90 minutes. Not sure whether it is anything I have done? Currently it shows 07:15GMT but the current GMT shows it being 08:45? Any ideas? Feel free to finish camping first too, this can wait til you're back Thanks mate HP

Well it takes the time from their own computers and just adjusts for time zone and displays it. I don't know how it could be off by increments different then hours

well after some research I found GMT isnt affected by daylight savings time, so I have to rewrite my formula from scratch to account for things.
if it was off by any other increment then an hour, it might warrant checking you computer clock. when I went to your site it was off, but only because of the GMT dst error. there wasnt any half hour errors.
I am sitting here trying to figure out a new formula that incorporates dst for the zones that use it...

The half hour would be because I am in Adelaide, for some stupid reason long ago some clown had the bright idea to make us 30 minutes different than the Eastern states so that would be why. Hopefully it isn't something that takes too long? Edit: By that last statement I mean because you are on vacation, I don't want you spending too much time on it when you are on holiday

ok. so after much thought, Im going to remove the DST stuff altogether. The formula already takes into account what your CURRENT timezone offset is. and it gets it back to GMT and then applies the forceoffset. the forceoffset is the tricky part. everything listed is Standard Time. there is no real easy way to have it automatically adjust for daylight savings on the force because if you are IN a timezone that doesnt use DST (like china for example), then the method I used earlier to detect it would return 0. therefore it would not add the extra hour on the forced timezone.
so basically, if you want to force the clock to be in GMT-7 you can. and it will stay there. but if you want it to accurately display a time for a city IN GMT-7, you need to change it to GMT-6 when the second sunday in march happens.
whereas everyone who lives in the states will have their computer clock automatically adjust, anyone living in Asia wouldnt, so short of storing every single DST event date for the next 10 years, its much less stress on me to have it just be a manual change for those wanting it to be changed. otherwise I have to write up a formula to determine the second sunday in march and the first sunday in november every year. which isnt impossible, Im just not feeling the desire to do it right now.
I will push the new clock version when I get back

Not a big deal but I have a slight problem with the clock plug in. It works great on the default theme but not on any other theme, even though it's checked off for all themes. Like I said, not a big deal and there are only a few members that use different themes. Any clue why it doesn't show in themes other than default !

in those other themes, do you have the spot added it where it needs to go? templates are theme specific.
