Change Name Of News.pbp (1.02 KB) (V. 1.3.0)

Allows you to change the "News" in the news scroller to something else. ANY HTML can be used. Optional Setting to change News scroller height.




V. 1.3.0 - You can now set the width, as well as the height.

V. 1.2.0 - Plugin now uses pure Jquery to target the News Title, made minor addition to plugin description.

V. 1.1.1 - Minor revision to correct recent changes made by proboards.

V. 1.1.0 - added support thread URL and made minor update to prevent the code from breaking if anyone uses HTML. also added an option to change the news feed height.

I just found this plugin and I would like to know can it be change so it puts a quote of the day or week in automatic

It could be used to put a Quote of the day, but you would have to change it every day manually. For something automatic, this plugin is not for you.

doesn't really matter which one you do they would both be great

sorry, but I forgot to ask if you want the quote to be in the scroller itself? also would you want it to be at the beginning or end?

Edit: if you just want to replace "news" with the QOTD, then lmk.

replace what you have with:
