Plugin DownloadPredetermined Post Drop DownPlugin Info & Instructions Adds a drop down to the posting page and quick reply that when the value is changed a different post appears in the posting box. You can set multiple drop downs. And you choose which members and groups see these drop downs.

Hmmms so I added it to my site here and it's not showing up in the designated boards to the designated people (aka me). I'm curious if there's a necessary order in the Manage Plugin area, perhaps? I thought maybe it was because I have the plugin Posting Templates and maybe the two conflicted but I unenabled Posting Templates and Predetermined Post Drop still didn't work. Any ideas?

Alright, I made an account can you add my name to the people able to use the drop down, so i can see what's happening. Thanks!

So I see the drop down. But nothing is happening. Try disabling all plugins except this one, and let me know if that works?

Alright, every plugin besides this one is unenabled and it's still not showing. Could it be something I did in my Templates? My Thread Template isn't identical to the default one, I have tweaked it mildly, so if this requires the default layout, the two could be clashing?

Well I see it. So it may be with the groups. Now you remove my name, and add me to a group that can see it? Thanks

Ah, yes, you're right. Therein lies the problem, then. If I add a user by name, it works, but if I add them by group, it doesn't. I just added my name and now it shows (and all the plugins are enabled again so it wasn't them causing the problem). Thank you very much =D I'm probably going to be adding by name, anyway, so it's no biggie for me.

Can you add me to a group? Because that shouldn't be happening. It wasn't happening on my test forum. Also, just want to point out. There is one plugin that is making the text not show up in the posting area, at least not for me. Not sure which one it is though. So you should try disabling then enabling them one by one until it messes up again.

I know why the group thing wasn't working. I fixed it on my copy. And it always worked for me because I only ever put one group, not multiple. Which is why it broke. So that should be fixed. But the issue I encountered on your forum I believe is a plugin clashing.

Hmmm, it's not working for you? It is for me, I've been able to switch between the two saved post templates in the drop down easypeasy since I added my name rather than my group.
Would you still like me to add to you in the group part or since you fixed that glitch is that no longer needed?

The group thing is no longer needed. But the switching of posts and it placing the text in the post is working for you? It only started working for me once you disabled all of your plugins. And then stopped working once you reenabled them.

Yes, I just checked, they're still working for me despite the plugins being enabled. I'm not sure what that indicates, if it's working for me but not you. I'm not particularly coding savvy. But I'm fine with unenabling them one at a time to see what might be causing the problem for you, if you want to communicate via the cbox on my site I can unenable them all and then enable one at a time, letting you know each time and waiting til you confirm if it's working or not. Once it stops working, we'll know which plugin is the culprit on your end? It's up to you ^^
