Dislike System:

This plugin adds a dislike button along side the like button. Place the following CSS in your forums CSS by going to Admin Panel > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and paste the CSS at the bottom. This CSS will give the dislike button an 'active' look when you have a post disliked.

.disliked.dislikes-button { color: @buttons_active_text_color; font: @buttons_active_text_font; text-decoration: @buttons_active_text_decoration; background: @buttons_active_background; border: @buttons_active_border; }

Dislike System Companion:

This plugin will keep track of how many dislikes a user has received since the plugin's installation. You must have the dislike system plugin for this to work.You will need to place the following HTML into the mini-profile template for each theme. I would suggest putting in after <div class="info"> but ultimately it can go anywhere as long as it's before the last </div>. The HTML you need is this:

{if $[user.is_member]}<br />Dislikes: <span id="user-dislikes-number-$[user.id]"></span>{/if}

Hi Shorty,

I was wondering if i can replace the label the word "Dislike" into Thanks instead. I noticed we can replace the image URL to something else but can you advise what I can do to turn it into a Thanks?

Are you talking about the text that says 'USER dislikes this.'

Yes I would like to replace the text that user says "Thanks" instead of dislike

One problem with that is that if I added the option to do that. I would have to added the option to choose all the text in its different forms. Like 'dislike' and 'dislikes', etc. And that would be annoying.

Sorry Shorty I don't mean to create headache for you but would it be possible for you to do that ? or have it as a variable where the user can define the display text as they would like? Thanks a lot!

What do you mean? Like how many dislikes a user gets?

Yes, just how the number of likes is listed in every individuals mini profile.
Can you make the number of "dislikes" be displayed in the mini profiles along with the number of "likes" please?

It's possible, but it would require a super user key. So it's not something I will be adding into the current plugin. What I'll do is I'll write a separate plugin to keep track of this data so that way the people who don't want to use this second key or the new functionality won't be forced to, but the people who do want to do it, can use it.

By the way, in the process of doing this I accidentally somehow deleted the text "likes" and how many likes from the miniprofiles. I can't remember how I even had that feature to begin with. Isn't it s default feature, or did I use a code?

Put this in the mini-profile {if $[user.is_member]}Likes: $[user.likes]{/if}

That should be right
