Forum Cut Off?

I don't suppose you've seen or heard of something like this occurring to someone else on another forum?

I'm assuming you've fixed it since it is no longer happening for me, although I'm on a different computer.

It appears to be some sort of conflict with the Gravity adverts at the bottom of the page. However I'm having a hard time confirming if this is just an issue with the one specific forum. If there are no other cases then the cause of the issue is obviously some sort of custom coding. (Even though I've checked for that thoroughly and found nothing specific.)

Interesting. I first thought it was one of the gravity scripts, but I had breakpoints in each of their files and it didn't seem to be occurring from them at one point so I moved on. I've never seen anything like this before so I have no idea what the confliction may be if it's only this forum.

Michael, no, I have had one other member complaining about it yesterday, as well. But the issue is not occurring for me personally any longer. I also made no changes to the coding or anything else on the site in a while and the issue just randomly started occurring yesterday morning. I really wonder what the cause was... Seems to be working fine now though!

We might have to wait for Michael and the devs to get back into the office on Monday for closure on this issue, N A T - I'd like to take a look at the problem myself but every time this thread is updated I check again, and I've never seen the issue in action.

I see, I see, David Clark. I noticed that the ads were removed from my page yesterday and it worked flawlessly during that time. Ads are back and so is the problem. It was mentioned that it might have something to do with that but I am not entirely sure. Couldn't find anything else that seemed wrong compared to how I've always had it. It's not necessarily happening in the same threads anymore. You might have to click around the forum to find the problem because it happens sort of randomly.

It looks like Michael did indeed apply a day of ad-free to test the issue with one of our devs, but they're both out on their weekends for now. They'll be back on the case on Monday, so for now I've applied ad-free to the forum to last until then just so it's not a problem for anybody while we get it figured out, N A T.

Myself and Keith Rozett will be taking another look at this some point today. Since this hasn't occurred on any other forum to my knowledge, there should be some sort of obvious coding difference that is causing the conflict. Hopefully we can narrow it down and find it for you.

Michael and Keith Rozett, the ads are back and with that, the forum cut off, too. Even worse now. Again cutting off the chat on the home page and then up to half a page on most other threads. >.<
