twds.proboards.com/As you can see i have the peekaboo plugin with the shoutbox embedded inside. I have two slight tweaks that I need advising on please, the first being when the bar is open the menu buttons are then unclickable. Currently the height from the top of the forum is 45px, would making this amount greater resolve this problem? And then there's the shoutbox question, open the peekaboo bar and note the placement of the send button. Can you see that the bottom piece of the button, is hidden? How can i resolve this please? NOTES: I have just altered the height from the top of the forum to 55 and menu buttons still aren't clickable. And I have tried break tags <br> in the peekaboo content area, but they don't fix the send button alignment. And have also added a couple into the layout templates, for the shoutbox itself. But they don't seem to work.

ok so i keep moving the sidebar and its content down, using css and the input fields in the plugin but no matter how low i put it. the issue remains, i can't click on the menu buttons with the peekaboo bar open. Can anyone tell me what's the cause of this? thanks.

Hi Welshling, You're posting in the template section about a plugin so that's probably why no-one has replied. Also, it's always advisable to tag the author.
What browser are you using? If it's chrome, then there was a plugin update in the library from July to fix this bug in chrome. Save all your data in the plugin and download the version from there and give it a try.

Pebble i didn't post in the plugins area because i figured it was a theme issue, something i had done perhaps? Such as the opacity and because the issue is with the nav tree, i didn't figure it was the peekaboo's problem. if you get my meaning. I am using Chrome yes, I installed the plugin from the admin plugin library straight to the forum. But I will go to the thread and find the update, to ensure I have the latest version.

I just had a look at your site and I understand now. The buttons that you have moved to the top of the screen, not the ones under your banner.
I can adjust the plugin for that. It may be a couple of days till I get round to it though.

I'll submit the updated code tomorrow but first could you give me your template mod or plugin that moves your buttons to the top so I can test it first. Thanks.

yup, i can get that for you now. <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>$[title] | $[forum.name]</title> $[head] <div id="navigation-menu" class="ui-helper-clearfix"> <ul role="navigation"> {foreach $[navigation.menu]} <li> <a{if $[navigation.menu.active]} class="state-active"{/if} href="$[navigation.menu.href]"{if $[navigation.menu.accesskey]} accesskey="$[navigation.menu.accesskey]"{/if}> $[navigation.menu.name] {if $[navigation.menu.notification.total]} <div class="tip-holder" onclick="window.location='$[navigation.menu.notification.href]'; return false;"> <div class="tip-number">$[navigation.menu.notification.total]</div> <span class="tip"></span> </div> {/if} </a> </li> {/foreach} </ul> <p id="welcome"> {if $[current_user.is_member]} $[current_user.name] (<a href="$[logout_link.href]">signout</a>) - <a href="/conversations/inbox"><b>Inbox:</b></a> <font color="#c5bf9c">$[current_user.messages.inbox]</font> | New: <font color="#c5bf9c"><u>$[current_user.messages.new]</u></font> {else} Welcome Guest to $[forum.name]. $[login_link.] or $[register_link.] {/if} </p> </div> </head> I believe that should cover everything you'd need to know. From what I can remember, all i did was move the nav bar (menu buttons) up in the template wrappers and added in a piece of Stinky666's template mod to it. for the inbox part. Let me know though if you want the full wrapper section and thanks.

Pebble twds.proboards.com/ this is how it is after importing the settings from the old plugin, but gimme a sec i think i can figure that out in the css add ons. edit: ok here's what i have in the css. its either really late for my brain to kick in and figure out the simple tweaks needed or i am missing something completely. #LPbar { background-color: rgba(24,24,24,0.7); height:500px!important; margin-top:45px; border-radius:0px 15px 15px 0px; color:#87A96B; font-size:18px; font-family:'Finger Paint'; text-align:center!important;} #LPcont { background-color: rgba(24,24,24,0.7); margin-top:45px; height:500px;} its not lining up, the bar with the info and the width isn't enough either if you get my meaning. But PLUS SIDE. i can click the menu buttons

Sorry, I don't get your meaning! Remove the height from both parts of the CSS. They shouldn't be needed as this is set in the manage section. What isn't lining up? I looked in chrome and it looks the same as in other browsers.
If you need more width, that can be set in the manage section.

hmm whatever was causing the issue has no resolved itself.
it was lining up but then it seemed to stop. And i removed the heights from both the css parts and fiddled from page to page and it seems ok again now. PS that is you right, that joined the forum?
