Yup. There was another forum posted earlier in this thread using the exact same theme. The problem with it was that they changed the mini-profile's class to mini_profile instead of leaving it as the usual mini-profile with a hyphen. This basically breaks any plugins that target the mini-profile specifically. I believe this is the post where I offered a fix: support.proboards.com/post/5965060Wow thanks a lot it is greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to make the profile mimic a normal one? IE a place to add the homepage, email ect? I tried doing it manually but it simply refuses to go in the right place

I tried doing it manually but it simply refuses to go in the right place You can manually add information to the mini-profile by adding HTML for it in the NPC List, but it's not possible to add any additional information to the full profile page on a per user basis for NPCs so you'd end up having several NPCs with empty fields if some have filled out all their information while others haven't. Any fields that exist for regular users but don't exist for NPCs were omitted because NPCs are not actual users and thus wouldn't have contact information.

Hi, Brian! It's me again - aren't you lucky? I'm working on helping Kitty on her forum ( kittykatt.boards.net/ ) and I've got permissions set that includes a group I'm in (I'm also teaching this plugin to someone else as well), I've added another NPC and used the same "Plugin Access" Member Group for who can use, and yes, the plugin is enabled. I've added a couple of boards thinking maybe something had to be in the blacklist. I'm trying to make a post using the NPC "Rayne" in the Plugin Learning board there - but no option to use any NPC and no sword down in the PBN bar. I know I've gotta be missing something, but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. If you get a chance, can you take a quick peek and see what I'm missing please. Also, I set the "Location" in the Mini-Profile HTML to have Assigned To: $[user.location] and I've got MSG in the Location box. It shows MSG right in the NPC's profile, but it still says Location. The only think I see in the View Profile tab that might hold that was the $[user.info] variable. Thanks!

I'm trying to make a post using the NPC "Rayne" in the Plugin Learning board there - but no option to use any NPC and no sword down in the PBN bar. The User Legend code in the forum's footers seems to be interfering with it, possibly because it's in the Global Footer while the HTML that produces the legend only exists on the homepage. Consider moving that code to the Main Footer instead. The mini-profile HTML doesn't affect the full profile HTML. The full profile HTML for each NPC is universally controlled by the View Profile tab of the plugin's settings.

Thank you, Brian! - I've moved the User Legend code to the Main Footer. I still wasn't able to see the sword icon on the homepage, but it showed up on a thread list page - so I've just commented the whole thing out for now (I like seeing it on the homepage as well. Just personal preference.). It seems it definitely was the culprit, so I'll ask Kitty what she wants to do with that. - For the View Profile tab though, I only saw the $[user.info] as the last item (rather than separate items for Birthday, Gender and Location) and noticed that the mini-profile had a class of "info", so I thought it would take the wording there and fill it in on the profile. Guess I was thinking in reverse, huh? EDIT: In other words, how can I change the word "Location" on the profile to something like "Assigned To:" (as I tried to do in the mini-profile)? Thanks!

So, for the View Profile, I can just remove the $[user.info] and put the wording in how I want it for the 3 items (default of: Birthday, Gender and Location) by adding in the $[user.xxx] for each? Yes, but at the cost of not automatically hiding any of the fields you haven't filled out in an NPC's profile.

Also, it looks like I was typing my edit while you were responding, so this may have been missed. This is really the only thing I'd like to be able to accomplish: How can I change the word "Location" on the profile to something like "Assigned To:" (as I tried to do in the mini-profile)? Is this easily doable, or does this require going into the JS? Thanks, Brian!

Brian, Your plugin is pretty awesome. I definitely am going to use it more. However, I am trying to find a way to make the mini-profile match or at least be more similar to that of the rest of our mini-profiles; however, I am not much of a coder or a tester or anything. I do not know how to do that. Do you perhaps have an idea?

BrianFirst off, thanks so much for this plugin! It's fantastic, and has really helped me out on the RP site I run! However, recently, I have been getting an error that I'd really like to get fixed. The error is this: Is it just that I don't have enough plugin space? If so, how do I purchase more?
Thanks!

I do not know how to do that. Do you perhaps have an idea? You'd need to modify the NPC's mini-profile HTML to be similar to your actual mini-profile template. You may need to experiment a bit but for the most part you can copy it over and remove any excess things that aren't applicable to the NPC (such as custom profile fields and other fields unavailable in your NPC settings). BrianFirst off, thanks so much for this plugin! It's fantastic, and has really helped me out on the RP site I run! However, recently, I have been getting an error that I'd really like to get fixed. The error is this: storage.proboards.com/3246047/i/gZNRhunSUmTlNvqEuh6I.jpgIs it just that I don't have enough plugin space? If so, how do I purchase more? Thanks! I was wondering when someone would manage to do this. Like most sections of the forum that accept large amounts of content there's a hard limit on how much data you can save in the plugin's settings. Your settings are saved in one giant string that looks something like this, only much longer than this example: The more characters the string contains, the larger its byte size. When you've got the mini-profile HTML for each NPC filled out with your own custom HTML this all has to be contained within that same string, causing it to fill up and meet the byte size limit extremely fast. The only way to circumvent this would be for me to make another plugin as an add-on to this one that you can add more NPCs to. You'll notice in the plugin library that the Monetary Shop and the Alters plugins both have expansion plugins that allow for extra items. Those expansions are available due to that limitation.

Aaah. So, there's no way for me to circumvent this without you having to make that plugin as an add-on?
