Remove / Hide PARTICIPATED BUTTON

I don't like what the Participated Button does. I added my own links to Recent Posts & Recent Threads but the Participated Button still remains. Members who use it are not getting all the recent activity & my group's participation is way off.

How do I Remove or Hide the participated button?

Each member has the option to disable/enable  it:

www.proboards.com/user-guide/profile-preferences/participated

*If you want to remove it for all:

Remove this from Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper

flagman1776, just as a clarification, the participated button is only supposed to be a means for members to see when threads they, as individuals, posted in have been updated. It's a really useful feature, actually. It makes it easy to follow a topic without having to search through the boards (or recent posts in your profile), or bookmark threads.

My members were not trying to use it that way. They were expecting threads with ANY particitpation. The mod worked very nicely, thankyou!
I had already added links for Most Recent Posts & Most Recent Threads in my header, I used the URL from the same buttons in my Info Panel.
