Hello chickadee, I am Sarapha, a friendly reviewer of forums. The way that I review a board is that I look it over as a guest, and write down what I see, in the order I see it. Then, I take another look, and see what details can be tweaked. I have 8+ years of experience with Proboards and its glory. Let us start

First Glance
I really like the background. It has a texture that is visually appealing, while not too distracting. I absolutely do not like the main banner. It doesn't tell me a single thing about the site, and it's a glitter graphic. It may be my PostTraumatic MySpace Disorder catching up with me, but whenever I see a glitter graphic, I hit the hills.

Just scrolling through
At this point, I really don't know what your board is about. The name suggests that it's something medical related, the boards suggest something to do with Mythology, possibly a general chatroom. I don't know if this is an RPG based forum, or a discussion...?

Another thing...
You have the admin account set up as a moderator for every single board. Though it's not entirely a bad thing, it adds another line of text that could be omitted.

Speaking of Lines of Text...
None of your boards have descriptions. Along with not knowing what the site is about, I also don't know what any of the boards are for.

The boards
I am happy that you took the time to make sure that nearly every board had something in it for people to reply to. *thumbs up* Not many new board owners realize exactly how detrimental empty boards are.

Rules... Information...
I'm not finding either. Now, I am not sure what the set rules are for the place. Can I come in at random and start a fight with someone? Are there certain words I'm not allowed to use? I really have no idea on any of that.

Final Thoughts
Visually, it looks like you're on a great path. I do compliment you for that. However, without knowing what the site is, and not having any references to tell me, I can't exactly say anyone would have reason to join.

I probably should be more clear on what the goal is for the forum.It's still a work in progress. but thanks for the input. I should make it clear the goal although it's a strange one.

You actually already have a board for that, the "general talk" in the relaxing category

The difference is that guests are allowed to post in that particular area. Are you suggesting I get rid of it just open the general talk into a free posting area?
