Hello *~Ellyse, I am Sarapha, a friendly reviewer of forums. The way that I review a board is that I look it over as a guest, and write down what I see, in the order I see it. Then, I take another look, and see what details can be tweaked. I have 8+ years of experience with Proboards and its glory. Let us start

First Glance
The main banner immediately tells me it's a Star Trek forum, which is very important, so great job on that. What it doesn't tell me is what the general theme of the site is. Judging from the picture (and this is an honest review, I'll apologize now), I can think that the plot involves Kirk having some sort of romance with Spock. When it comes to main banners, people gather a lot of information from them. Not just the name of the site, but also a general feel of what the site is about. If looking at a Harry Potter site where the main banner is the Death Eaters Vs the Order of the Phoenix, one can assume that it's a war-time site where both sides are fighting one another. That is an important first step with any forum. While your main banner is informative as to what type of board it is, it is heavily lacking the sense of *what* the site is about.

Forum Color
I definitely don't suggest white as the main text color. In the side table, next to the Starfleet logo, I cannot tell you what the text there says without highlighting it. The background texture in that area also doesn't help the text any, but that may clear up if the text is made to be something darker.

Hermione Granger???
I found myself intensely baffled by the gif images of Emma Watson as the on/off buttons. Presently, that much isn't explained, but, still, I'm quite confused.

Going where no man, has gone before...
I see a huge amount of emptiness to the site. Even without being able to read much through the white text, I can see that the majority of the boards are entirely empty. This won't do you any favors with getting new guests. Not too important until you open shop, so to speak, but it will definitely be one of the first things you want to focus on doing before you open up the board to the public.

The Rules
I have no complaints on the rules, they are nicely written.

The Plot
Doesn't explain the Emma Watson, nor the image, but that's fine. What isn't fine is the "I hate doing plots." part. As an admin, it's pretty much in the job description to create the site plot, liking it or not. Everything before that is exceptional, however.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review my forum, I really appreciate it!

First Glance: I will admit, I did burst out laughing at the "Spirk Romance" comment. It's actually Kirk and Bones in the banner, but looking at it now I can see how people may get that misconception. I'd originally intended to go for the "I'm kind of relaxed since we aren't in the middle of battle edging on war so can we chill?" look, but due to the fandom... yeah.

Forum Color: THANK YOU! For some reason something always felt off about the color scheme, but I could never quite tell what. I will definitely be changing that. Oh, it turns out that the only reason I have the white color is because the accent color is that. Anything else darker or lighter ruins the entire look of the forum. My main text color is black, but not the homepage text. I suppose you could consider the accent as the inner border, right next to the light blue outer border. It's all a part of the theme I'm using, unfortunately. 

Hermione: OH, those aren't on/off icons per se... The icon of the last member to post in that board shows up as the icon everyone sees on the homepage. I'm just using her as an alias of sorts for my admin account, this is so I'm not using a character from Star Trek. The default icon would be the Starfleet insignia, which is on most of the empty boards.

Space: The final frontier...: I've been rather on the edge with this topic. "Should add information in the boards or no?" While the titles may be obvious, it looks better to have words in the board descriptions, I suppose. I was honestly just waiting for some input on this. I've also been putting off on adding boards since I'm lazy, but I'll make sure to get to that, too.

The Plot: That was just me trying to be funny and I have no intentions of actually keeping that up when I open the site. I thought I deleted that a long time ago. whoops.

I'll make sure to change the main font color as well as the color of the links on the side of the forum. I'll also be going over to fix the other site problems. Once again, thank you so much for doing this.
