Just curious how much space does this have - how does it 'store' data and is there anyway you could - if need be - 'add' more storage

This is an extremely great plugin!~ <3 I really like this plugin so here a few things I love to see happening with it.
-Would really appreciate an Show less/Show more button for when there will be more than 10 comments. Or Simply a Show comments button. -Maybe Show less/Show more button for when the comment is more than 5 lines breaks.
Also there is that thing where when you post a comment if you want to do another one in another post from the same thread, you have to refresh the page... It would be great it it wouldn't happen.

I use the styled member names plugin; would it be possible for the comment plugin to show the stylings created by that plugin? For example, the styled members names plugin allows me to make the names of admins red, but when an admin makes a comment, their name doesn't display as red, but as the same color as any other member would. And also, would it be possible to display smilies within the comments? Maybe an option in the settings to either parse smilies or to not. Awesome plugin, by the way!!

Just curious how much space does this have - how does it 'store' data and is there anyway you could - if need be - 'add' more storage It uses a post key, so the maximum number of comments are limited to 4000 characters per post, including usernames and user id. It would be possible to increase the comment size using some sort of additional plugin and use that key to boost the characters to 8000 characters. This is an extremely great plugin!~ <3 I really like this plugin so here a few things I love to see happening with it. -Would really appreciate an Show less/Show more button for when there will be more than 10 comments. Also there is that thing where when you post a comment if you want to do another one in another post from the same thread, you have to refresh the page... It would be great it it wouldn't happen. Yeah that would be good. I'll se about adding a Show more/less button. Just curious though how comments are more than one line, as pressing the enter button should submit the comment. edit: forgot to ask: That last thing shouldn't be happening. Are you using the input field or the button, and what other plugins do you have installed. If I was to include additional information per member, like if they're an admin or not, then that would take up additional space in the key. Since the key space is finite, and limited to 4000 characters, then I thought it was best to omit that information. I suppose I could make it optional for those that would prioritise that over the number of comments possible per post.

A lot of space though? 4000 characters is lot; I mean even Twitter only allows 140 characters for tweets. And about the smilies, would they pose a problem - is it even possible to parse smilies without parsing ubbcode? And would it be possible for the comments to notify the post creator?

If each comment was 140 characters long then 26 comments would take 3640 characters with room for some meta data before no more comments would fit. Of course if most users just comment saying "cool" then you could have a lot more. I think smilies are included by JavaScript on each page, so it might be possible actually. It wont be possible to notify the post creator as far as I know, just because that's done server side based on the post which keys don't alter.

I've tried moving plugins around to see if that is the problem, but I installed a new plugin: Post comments. It's amazing, and I love it. The only problem is, it seems to be interfering with the plugin: Post Light Box. The light boxes still appear on posts that were there before I installed the Post comments plugin, but now any posts after that will not appear as light boxes. I don't know if there's a code I can tweak or something to make this work or if these two plugins simply are incompatible. Thank you for your time and help.

It appears to work fine with both plugins on my test board. Do you have a board link so I can if it's something specific to your board.

Okay update, it's working on every thread except that one, so this is probably some other problem, but I can't figure it out. lol
Not a plugin problem, but let me say thank you for trying. Sorry I was stupid. >< lol..I still gave this plugin the five star rating it deserves. Thank you for your help!
It actually was because the images were gifs. They need to be jpgs.

I really hope you do know how much I love this plugin. It's one of my top 3 now in all the plugins offered in the plugins section. Thank you Quozzo.

Are you using the input field or the button, and what other plugins do you have installed. I think what I should have asked would be is if a comment is more than, example, 200 characters... Things like that. I have read that someone wanted some ways to be notified when there is a comment. Wouldn't it work with a popup message? Maybe plugings have the option of being notified with popups. And these are the plugings that I have installed. In red, yours.

Hi @freeplay. I didn't know you had so many plugins installed. It might be best if I create an account on your board to see what the issue is. What's the link? Just curious is any of your members are also experiencing the issue, and what browsers you and your members are using.
