Hello,
Unfortunately we are experiencing redirects to appstores on mobile again. This is occurring for both iphone and android users. It's happened to me a few times over the weekend on my android (Nexus 4) and every time it happens too quickly to see what ad is doing the redirect. The first time I was redirected to a Wizard of Oz app though.
In addition, some iphone users are being logged out every time they load a page or open a new tab in Chrome on mobile.

Hi, @theophaniatcf.
Can you have each of these users provide their geographic location? We'll need that bit of preliminary info so we can ensure we're receiving the same advertisements.
I'm unable to duplicate the logout issue in Chrome on the iPhone. Can you ask them if they experience the same thing in an incognito tab?

One user is in Michigan. I'll update when I hear from the rest. Can you do an incognito tab on Chrome while mobile? I don't know how to do that to direct them to do it.

One user just messaged me that she is in Kentucky. I feel like I remember most of these users being in the midwest area as well if that helps. I will update again if someone is outside of one of the three states already mentioned.

I'll give Ohio a try first. And yup, you can use an incognito tab even on a mobile device. Both the iOS and Android versions of the app open it the exact same way. www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-browse-incognito-with-chrome-beta-for-android/

Looks like it might not be regional. One user having the ad redirect is in California.

At least that means I don't have to rely on a proxy anymore to test ads. That speeds it up a bit. Can you also ask your users to provide the time they received redirects alongside their location? It's possible the ads may only be showing during a specific period of the day as I've not managed to receive any redirects since this thread was created.

Texas for another user. When it's happened to me it's been in the morning or afternoon EST. It has not happened in the evening EST. I will see if that is true for the other users.

This started happening to me yesterday, and has carried on tonight. Each time the ad banner hadn't even loaded fully, so was impossible to tell what ad was doing the redirecting. The mobile ap I was being directed to was Uber,on the android google play store. I'm an admin on the forum pethaven.boards.net and my location is England. If there is a solution to this I would love to hear people's input! Thank you in advance :-)
Editing to add: My device is an android tablet, 4.4.2 android, and browser is google chrome.

The app redirects are happening on TCF again. It's pretty much never ending for some users. They can't open a single page. Android users in the midwest (Ohio) seem to be the most affected and have had issues all day.

I went into the app settings, found chrome and forced closed it before clearing the program cache and uninstalling to the stock version. Upgraded back again and had no problems since, touch wood! Might be an avenue of hope for members still stuck in this redirect hell

It is interesting that clearing the cache stopped the issue from happening. It would almost suggest that the issue could be (at least in part) triggered by something in your cache.
I will pass on that bit of information along to hopefully narrow down the issue.
That said, we were able to identify a redirect issue earlier this morning that was missed upstream. We have submitted a report of this and we are hoping this is the last of the notable issues being experienced.
With the additional information we hope that we can try and target the last holdout.
