Description:
Prompts members with an alert when they click the "Profile" button in the menu bar to go to any profile tab (can be disabled), and prompts members with an alert when they click "Edit Profile" on the view profile page to go to any edit profile tab.

If you want the buttons aligned left, please follow aRMY83 's advice below:

Updates:

V 1.4.1 - minor update to know if using plugin on a forums.net forum, which if "Yes" is selected just removes the "Gift" button from the "Profile Alert", since forums.net forum don't have a "Gift" tab.

V . 1.4.0 - Created an option to disable the "Profile Alert" when clicking on the "Profile" button in the menu bar. Fixed some problems with the replacement "Edit Profile" button. Enjoy

V. 1.3.0 -

1. Fixed a bug, and simplified the settings tabs.
2. there are now 2 alerts, 1 for profile tabs when you click on "Profile" in the menubar, the other when you click on "Edit Profile" on the profile page to go to any edit profile tab (requires a small template edit to replace the "Edit Profile" button).
3. All elements of the alerts are now editable (alert title, alert message, and buttons: SEE PREVIEWS).

V 1.2.0 - Also added option to change alert text.

V 1.1.0 - Made an option to set text for each button and added buttons for profile tabs too. also added a setting to set the alert's width.

Forum URL? did you click on the profile button in the menu bar?

Yea that what I was clicking on. Tried both the admin profile and fake new member profile I created for testing.

My forum URL is - rcoverload.boards.net/

can you try to move the plugin to the top of your other plugins to see if that helps?

if not temp. disable all plugins except that one and if it works then re-enable them one at a time until it stops working.

Ok figured it was going to take me longer....However I moved it to the top and tried it then...Nothing...Disabled all of my plugin except that one...Nope still not working.

ok can you clear cache & temp. files and see if that works?

if not, try starting a private browser session (you'll need to login again prob) and see if that works.

edit: also what browser are you using?

Hey I love the plugin, just wanted to let you know there's a typo in it.


Honestly, it would be really nice if we could set that text ourselves. 
Either way, thanks so much for all your hard work! 
This plugin makes my forum even more convenient.

Would it be at all possible to add more options to the window?
Ones that take you to the different profile tabs?

Also, when you press the X it takes you to your profile.
Would it be possible to make the X just close the window and leave you on the page you're on?

Either way, thanks for this plugin. It makes editing your profile options WAY more convenient.

thanks for catching that typo. i can add the option to set your own text for each button, and add buttons for the other tabs. however, you'd have to set the width of the alert yourself in the settings to make it look right.

That is very nice, again thank you so much.
Being as it now allows you to edit and view your profile, it would be nice if we could edit the other text as well.
But I don't want to be greedy.

Also I think it might look nicer if the buttons and info text were in the same bar,
but that might just be a personal thing.
