support.proboards.com/thread/576234/request-v6Would this be possible to have members put their own banner in JUST on their profile page? i think theres a plugin that lets me as admin put one on for the members but i cant do this for everyone so its not practical.

Ok richie my friend, i'm new to making custom fields so i'll give it a shot as to what i know then i'll report back, i might need alittle help though. thank you edit: ok it doesnt work atm, iv got the different banner plugin and disabled the 'profile' banner to see if it was conflicting and it still didnt work. I'v put a custom field in the profile settings and i'v set it like this ... Im not sure if iv dont it right, iv put the 'memberbanner' in the code in bold like you said and when i put the url img in the field in my profile settings all it does is leave a clickable link to the image on my profile page. So i dont know if iv set the field correct ... help !!

Change it to url (plain text) and make sure the bold part matches the field name exactly.

its work thank you richie, i cant believe it was this easy. For those who use your code here richie i recommended disabling the 'different page banner' plugin, but only the 'profile' page img setting or it wont work. thank you again

it's not entirely possible as a template since we have no $[user] variable for thread search results, only $[current_user]. this would only be doable as a plugin, and prob with a key.
