Just curious, How would this be possible with a plugin since plugins run on Javascript? if Javascript is disabled wouldn't the plugin not function then?

Just curious, How would this be possible with a plugin since plugins run on Javascript? if Javascript is disabled wouldn't the plugin not function then? This is done through CSS and HTML. CSS will run to hide most of the page and JavaScript will remove the css. HTML noscript is used to display the message There are many components a plugin can use. Js is a main focus but not even required in a plugin. You could restyle an entire theme in a plugin.

Is there a way to tweak it, so we can change the message? Especially for mult-language users? Also, on our site, we only see the background gray with black text. *see screenshot below" -- which is our custom background theme. I was hoping a white page background perhaps show our forum logo on top and etc. And the text to be more larger to read, plus be able to let people know that the site isn't broken, they just need to disable their blocking javascript or etc. Or perhaps be able to hide everything between the header and the footer. This way it doesn't seem completely broken?

Hi,
disabled javascript via Internetoptions, but the forum was not hidden. Used F5, ctrl-F5 and restart, clear cache.
What am I doing wrong?

It is at the top already. I thought also it might be that, but it is not.

Just a thought, though - are you testing this on mobile? If so, the OP states that this does not work on mobile.
