Thanks for posting here. Now that the other thread has been dealt with, I can show you what I did for another member. It has a rules tab on the side. That can be removed if you don't want it. Here is the link and I have that theme showing for guests. TEST SITEWill that work o.k. for you? You can style it with your own colors, change the size of things, etc.

All right. I have this at the very bottom of my wrapper template but you could put it in your global or main footers if you want it on all themes. I did not do the css so it picks up your theme colors but if you prefer it that way let me know.
<style> /*bottom drawer by Tumbleweed*/ #myMenu div#first{ background-color:#ec1a38; color:black; border-top:5px solid #fbc328; height:400px;width:280px; z-index:500; } #MenuTab{width:280px;background-color:#bbbbbb; height:30px;font-size:16px!important;border: 1px solid #000000; border-top-right-radius: 50%; border-top-left-radius: 50%;padding-top:8px; overflow:hidden; } #MenuTab a{color:#000000; } #myMenu{ position: fixed; bottom: 0; left:10px; width: 300px; text-align: center; margin-top:200px;z-index:500; } footer{margin-bottom:20px; } /*this is a rotated container so styles will be too*/ /*width is actually height_height is actually width*/ #show{ position:absolute; top:199px; right:-76px; width:160px; height:22px; font-size:14px; background-color:#bbbbbb; border:1px solid #000000; border-top-right-radius: 50%; border-top-left-radius: 50%; padding-top:8px; -webkit-transform: rotate(90deg); /* Safari */ -moz-transform: rotate(90deg); /* Firefox */ -ms-transform: rotate(90deg); /* IE */ -o-transform: rotate(90deg);/* Opera */ filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3);/* Internet Explorer */ } #rules_content { position:fixed; top:300px; left:350px; width:300px; height:300px; font-size:12px; padding:8px; background-color:#ec1a38; color:#000000; border-top:5px solid #fbc328; border-right:1px solid #000000; border-bottom:1px solid #000000; border-left:1px solid #000000; z-index:501; } #rules_content p{padding:8px;} #rules_content h3{padding:8px;} </style>
<div id="myMenu"> <div class="tabbie" id="MenuTab">Click For Cbox</div> <!--1st toggle div content--> <div class="tab_content" id="first" style="display:none;">
Cbox goes here <div class="tabbie" id="show">Cbox Rules</div> <!--2nd toggle div content--> <div class="tab_content" id="rules_content" style="display:none;"> <h3>Cbox Rules</h3> <p> Give Admin cookies every day!<br><br> Be nice to the Admin or else!<br><br> Give Admin more cookies! </p> </div> </div> </div>
<script> $(document).ready(function(){ $('.tabbie').click(function() { $(this).next('.tab_content').slideToggle('slow') }); }); </script>
If you have any questions or need help with something, let me know. I know there is a lot of css so it might be confusing.

Tumbleweed, I'm hoping I'm asking this in the right area... if not feel free to move it or tell me where it goes and I will move it... I love this, but I would like to use it for " Most Recent Threads"... is it possible?

I love this, but I would like to use it for " Most Recent Threads"... is it possible? The only way to get most recent threads to list is to use Todges plugin: support.proboards.com/thread/508294/updated-threads-sidebarI wasn't sure it would work but got it going on my test site. If you download Todges code from the library, where it says container id, add "first" but without the quotes. (That will put it in the cbox area. As you notice the code I made has that side tab for cbox rules. If you want recent threads in the rules container then the id for that is "rules_content" and again, without the quotes. You'll have to play with your other settings and css in that plugin to get it to look right. You can view it on the test site I linked to in my previous post but right now it looks kind of ugly, need to fiddle with the styles of things. Oh and a reminder. Recent threads will only show for those posted AFTER you install Todges code.

is there any way to have multiple tabs? I don't know, let me try to add another one. Wait, do you mean side tabs like on the side of the cbox or more cbox tabs along the bottom?

The tab shows but when I click on it nothing happens, I have it on one of my themes called "Test" if you care to check it out?? Hmmm... scratch that it seems to be working now... LOL!

Ok Tumbleweed, I have been playing around with this and I noticed that the tab comes up on every page, but it only shows the "recent threads" on the home page... can it be where you can see the recent threads in there no matter where your at... am I making any sense??

It shows on every page on my site and I have it at the bottom of my wrapper template. In the plugin did you select yes to having it show on ancillary pages? Also, did you add it to your wrapper template or somewhere else, like home page/headers/footers? Oh and if you have more questions, can you create a new thread and put a link in it to this thread. This was AdWomans thread and it just makes it easier to help one person in one thread. Thanks. By the way, I do have a version of it to pick up your theme colors in case you want that instead. You'd just need to replace the css.
