The site looks decent.
It looks very monochromatic, different shades of the same color. It's not a bad thing and is quite a common technique but for it to work it has to have enough contrast.
The banner is too light, for the light text to come through, you could maybe get around this by adding a linear gradient before the image
background: linear-gradient(45deg, rgba(0,0,0,0), rgba(0,0,0,.5)), url('./yourimage.jpg');
You should also introduce a complementary color to break things up a little(buttons for example).
The navigation should not have social links included, that is the first thing people will investigate, do you really want to send people away from your site by including those links? NO! have them in the footer.
Some of your group colors also don't go with the theme. cyan on pink? They almost share the same brightness, consider this.

- the banner/header rotates when refreshing page, there might be a photo thats a bit on the light side for the navigation text but in overall i have fixed that matter by adding a text shadow weeks ago, for me and others its more readable now. - what do you suggest for button colour? i couldn't imagine green, red, purple or blue buttons would look good with the colors of the theme, only orange really. - the head moderator colour i assume you are talking about, it is not on a pink background (the forums background is obviously not pink) and to be honest is quite clear to read, its not cyan as too bright it hurts eyes and is hard to read level. perhaps it looks different for you because you use windows and i don't.... i don't know, but i have seen myself colours are different on a windows sometimes which is unfortunate truthfully. - as for the navigation and social links??? there is one tiny button in the navigation that people probably don't even notice lol, its to a tumblr. so not sure what you are on about when it comes to the navigation.

Try a service like Paletton to help you create a complementary color. If you find that color does not suite, try a a third color, known as a triad which would have slight offsets of 180deg on the color wheel. I find #FFFE87 works quite well Also, your forum background is not white, it is #f1bbcd <- pink Finally different screens would have any impact on how colors are displayed, it has nothing to do with whether I'm on windows or a mac
