I have to admit to being quite inexperienced on the coding side of things. I don't suppose any of you coders would mind looking into this plug-in and pointing me to where in the Components I might be able to make it easier to obtain tokens?

Last night every single present sent or received on my forum disappeared. What the heck happened? Is there anything I can do to recover that data? I know I did not clear any keys. The only staff in common on my two forums is me, and it was working on both when I went to bed last night. My members are fit to be tied. Anything I can do?

Unfortunately there is no setting to alter this.  Not sure why I never included it.

For now, you will have to make do, or if you know how to tweak the code, then you can get the source (including plugin file)...

Thanks peter. I can live with it the way it is.

But it feels like the Grinch stole our Christmas today with the problems with the Super Keys. Sure hope the PTB get that fixed soon!

Oh shoot, I'll pay more attention when I tag from now on. I also just gave you a glowing review in the plug-in Library. My members love this version so much better. They were kind of bitching and moaning a bit about how hard it was to earn tokens in the last version.

I don't know if you are taking suggestions for possible future updates or not, but wanted to put it out there. It would be really cool if you gave staff the ability or a button to click that would send a gift of their choosing to every Forum member. And that it could be used multiple times.

Another comment I've been getting is that people wish that all the sports things were grouped together, all the pets were grouped together, Etc. It is really kind of difficult to find what you're looking for when they're all scattered about.

And I think I've already read higher up in the thread that it would be neat if we could import our own gifts into the list.

However, I love this plug-in just the way it is, and I'm happy with it if it never changes. Just thought I'd throw out some of the suggestions I've been getting from my members.

Oh, one more thing I've heard a lot. But I'm not sure if I agree it would be worth the time to do it. But a lot of people are saying they don't remember who they've sent to, or what they sent. If there was some way to look that up, I think my members would like that.

Unfortunately giving a present to everyone by a click of a button isn't really possible due to the way keys work.

Regrouping the images would be a big problem.  People with presents already would get the wrong one appear, as it's based on a column and row system.  A specific position (x and y) is used to pull images from 1 big image (usually called a sprite sheet or texture atlas).  The reason for this, is so that I could support 529 (or more if needed) images by default, as there is a cap of how many we can store in the plugin.

As for allowing support for your own gifts.  Yes, this could be done.  I will consider it for the next update (not sure when that would be though).

So I originally had that idea when I first started prototyping the plugin, but I decided against it.  The reason why it never made it in was due to plugin space.  Plugins are limited on the amount of data they can store.  I wanted to make sure that people could receive a decent amount of presents before reaching the cap.  If I had of included the history feature, then the amount of presents would have been reduced by quite a lot.

The other 2 options are:

  A.  Add a user key to the current plugin so that history can be saved there.  Downside is that people would need to purchase a user key if they don't have one.  This could put people off from using the plugin.

  B. Write an additional plugin that will be specifically for the history.  The benefit of this, is that if people have a spare user key, they can install it and get the history feature.  If they don't, then no problem, the main plugin will work as normal.

That's good.  Gives me motivation to improve it knowing other people enjoy it.

I may consider adding in the option to add custom ones soon.  Might do it this weekend.  I shall see
